I am now selling in-hand risers. They work in either 1x or 16x slots, are powered, have caps for extra power filtering, have built-in pci-e presence mod for improved video card detection in certain motherboards, and use a 30cm long flexible USB cable for carrying the PCI-E signals instead of a ribbon cable that often is stiff and breaks solder contacts. Those risers look sketchy as fuck bkc888. Hot glue? Wtf? Not with GPU rigs that cause heat issues. If it wasn't for that then I would say thats a reasonable deal but even home made stuff if its soldered properly shouldn't need hot glue. A soldering iron and magnifying glass is plenty if its done right.
These are quite popular and I can never get enough in stock. I just received a batch tonight and the next batch looks hard to get due to the Holidays.
