I don't know, dont have the cards but some dude is getting 22Mh/s for his 380 2GB. Which is exactly what my R9 280X does.

I dont know if there's conflicting information, but i see some guy;

"check this thread. they report that 380 is around 18-19 MH/s
not as good as 280-290"

Which seem to fit.

Who knows? Maybe they are using Ubuntu or mining EXP instead of ETH. Or they overclocked their 380

The 380 2GB gets like 20MH/s. The 4GB model might get slightly more.

Hard to compare since the DAG file keeps changing and speeds vary.

My 380x does 19.5MH/s. Not sure whats up with that, but it is what it so for me.

The 380 is much slower than the 380x that is slower than the 280x. He'd be paying 30 more for a brand new GPU that would be a big downgrade.
^ Exactly

The 390s hash pretty well from what I hear but they run around 200$ new

Looks like another person who is getting out of Bitcoin mining and getting into GPU mining.

Your best bet is to just buy them locally on Craiglists. It will be too expensive here or on eBay. Also avoid the 290x, it overheats and runs too hot. Stick with the 7970/280x.

I will continue bitcoin mining just trying to diversify. The mining scene for bitcoin is going fast. Even the deals here on marketplace are great deals but with the difficulty skyrocketing so fast they won't ROI for almost a year now at current rates.
