oh damn, I didn't realize all that info was needed for an exchange.  thought it was just a simple email address or acct# or something.  thanks anyway.
I always thought bank deposit cash was safe, until I realized you have to give out your account number. LOL. Is that what you meant?

No I meant that when I look at my BOA send money page all it asks for me to send money is a phone# or email address of a person who has set up the ability to send/receive from that same # or address.  But giving out state, last name, acct# seems like a lot but oh well maybe that's how its done.  I wish I could just do more cash and carry transactions.

Like I said I can do the send money online, its a bank wire. I talked with someone about it for a long time and its 99.9% irreversible. Thus i accept for sales of BTC as well generally from trusted members here.
bank wires aren't bad, and the fees involved are like 20-25 each time, right? good for 10 BTC or larger transactions.

No one can do anything with your account number, if you try paying for it using it you first have to confirm the bank account by them doing micro deposits to your bank and when YOU see them you have to tell the amounts. Never understood why people are so leary of doing Bank deposit, its the best method for selling.
I asked a bank rep a few days back about giving out my account number and she said "no, it's not a good idea to give out to some you don't know". I wonder what am I missing here!
KOS, I thought you could pay online using your account number and routing no? I don't use my account numbers anywhere for safety, but don't remember it correctly now.

For Bank of America online wire, all I would need is an email address and account # I believe...Also it really wasn't much info...all you need for a deposit is last name, acct # and state of the account since its an out of state deposit...but okay then...

Spot price I am willing to pay is Bitstamp USD. I will offer $2 more to the total if you ask for payment via BOA deposit / wire since there are no fees involved. I can do moneygram or Western Union but you cover the fees.

Will only be around for the next 2 hours or so, after that ignore this post.

My reputation thread link is in my signature. Let me know if interested.
