551W for just the card running Furmark.

$600 would be a pretty sweet price for that card, good luck.

shit that takes up 3 slots

ho much longer till 8### series?

AMD hasn't been doing well over the past few years, their stock sells less than 1/3 its highest ($10 per share) price during the last 4 years. They've barely made profits (data), we may never see new AMD GPUs.

and if playstation 4 uses AMD processors Huh

The PS4 isn't guaranteed to be profitable (although the contracts would improve their earnings), the Sony PS3 wasn't profitable at its initial release. I use AMD products too, but its unfortunate that the company isn't performing well and their shareholders are probably worried about the state of the company too.

That is truly sad... I have been an AMD/ATI fan for over a decade. I allways bought AMD for their price/performance... never bought high end procs... just overclocked...

Anyways, They'll make it to 8000 series. The product is mostly developed by now anyways.

I want a 7990 for $600

I believe PowerColor is the only manufacturer who has one on the street officially.  NewEgg is selling them new for $899.

So i would not expect to be able to get one for that price - They havent been out long enough for a competitive resale market to have developed.

lold. 850 watts from one card would melt the solder joints. try again.

looks like 370 to 660 watts
