CNP (card not present) transactions are a very high risk payment system so you can’t blame people for being paranoid.
Ok, that makes sense. But the way the other guy was attacking me calling me a thief is not very civilized.
Coinmama and Coinbase offer a card-based purchase platform but I am very sure it won’t be as simple as typing in the card number and expiry date. They will ask you to identify yourself and prove card ownership.
Thanks, I can deal with that, even though I would prefer to not have my passport/ID card floating around the internet more than necessary. Will check out coinmama. Already have an account at Coinbase and I have everything in Euro there, and at least to my knowledge, I can't switch to USD. Or can I?
You can also expect miserably low purchase limits after passing the verification procedure. That’s how paranoid the industry is. They know the tricks of carders and account phishers.
Yeah, I guess we cant really blame them for being careful.
