Not rushing, just giving the good old bump. And I stated that I'll only be using escrow so it's safe for everyone.

RED FLAG can be charged back, plus every time when a seller asks for urgency means he is trying to rush his scam.  Dont rush , do your research and play it safe, hes the one that needs the money not us.

This is a legally obtained gift card which I have no interest in using, I'd rather have BTC. That's why I would like to sell/exchange it.
While I can't give you any proof that there'll be no chargebacks or anything like that, I can give you my word.

Not to be harsh your word isn't worth that much. I suggest using an escrow and while the BTC is in escrow, you have the buyer try to spend the funds.

No worries, that is doable.

even if ebay doesn't do refunds, the seller can still do a chargeback through the credit card company, so the risk is still there.

can ebay cards be charged back after they are applied to the account? (like amazon)

Unless the account / card used to purchase the gift card was obtained fraudulently, then no - they can't be reversed once they've been applied to your account. Also, even if the account is legitimate if there's ever a case where the account got limited for fraudelent purposes all recent transactions could be reversed which could have a negative effect on your account.

Whenever someone pays me with PayPal I watch them as they do the transaction and follow a few basic steps which helps weed out the scammers a lot.

- Check their current IP to see if they are using a proxy.
- View their transaction history, if they haven't done any transactions in a while and they want to do a large one with me I deny their request. General rule of thumb is if the transaction they're going to do with you is out of character with the rest of their history then PayPal could flag it.
- Do as much research as possible with the information you have, check for scam reports etc.

Remember that there's no safe way to avoid chargebacks, you can only minimise the risk.

Technically, this can be charged back.

This is a statement from their Gift card terms and policies.

And you are able to purchase Ebay Gift cards online, which means they can be purchased through fraud. This will result in a charge back. There is some risk involved so deal with caution.

No. And I've never heard an Amazon card to be charged back. I don't think it's possible.
Once it's yours, it's yours. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
