Bitinstant is an institution and will always be susceptible to closures and seizures. The problem that I see is that everyone is used to trading with financial middle men and institutions. I am probably involved in bitcoin for very different reasons than most people here on the forum. I sell and promote it because i want a bank and government killer. I want the money power to be returned to the people and for it to act as a tool that works for the people not a weapon to  be used against them.

So why where financial instituition created and how could bitcoin and the internet make them irrelevant?
They were created because of the growth of trade across borders to parties with unknown trade history and reputation. You want to sell your goods to a new market but you dont know who to trust, so you sell to an institution or use a middle man, but we have a tool now that can keep track of the reputation of every man women and child on the plant. The only thing lacking is content. So what is needed to kill the banks and defund the war machines of the world is P2P transactions with a reputation keeper.

Lets stop trying to make bitcoin the same as the current system and continue building a new system.

Those kind of stupid games dont make any difference. If someone is going to steal from you they are going to steal from you. Paypal doesnt give a shit if they open and close a case. They will let you dispute charges a number of ways. If some one is scamming they are most like knowledgeable of the method they are scamming with.

Sent PM, interested but trying to do bank deposit  before paypal, and as far as dwolla goes, haven't used it before to withdraw, how long does it usually take?
I believe Dwolla is just like PayPal. You still have to verify your bank account and it takes a few days to withdraw. :/ Banks suck...

I have $359.17 to spend. I'm trustworthy. I've been selling Humble Bundles on this forum for over a half year, I believe. I have kept good on all of my agreements. PM me or post here to give me an offer.

I'm in a bit of pinch with trying to buy bitcoins, what with Bitinstant down, and MTGox not able to accept Dwolla deposits currently. Sad

I'm currently willing to pay $104.34/ per Bitcoin.
