Yes of course, always good to be reminded. Most of the scams happen when the deal is really good and the victim rushes to complete the deal without performing the necessary checks.

I’m happy to make a deal for a Casascius that is not really good and can take as long as needed if OP wants to make sure they’re getting a legit Casascius coin.

When buying high value coins like the one here you will encounter many scammers who will try to pull one off. I recommend not communicating with anyone outside the forums and to use escrow. Double and triple check that each message is coming from the correct person by looking at the trust every time
My account is newbie but been on this for years... anyway always good to remember this to people to avoid things like the 25btc coin that was scammed recently.

Good luck on your search, i recommend only getting graded/authenticated casascius coins as I have heard of fakes being passed off on unsuspecting victims.
Those are great coins. I am sure we would all like to buy them for the right price. What sort of price are you looking to pay for them? I think if you have some guidance there you would be much more likely to get people contacting you to try and arrange a sale. Hope that helps. Good luck finding your coins!
