I have pulled the shipment due to be sent to ANACS today, but will hopefully be looking to send tomorrow (with or without them)

Also looking at getting a few more 5's available from my source. Any other interest PM me

Deal agreed for 2 series 2 5's ungraded (not to Miffman, so I guess he is still looking). 2 more have gone to be graded, and are likely to be sold when they get back at the start of July.

One coin to rule them all
Whats the going rate for the 5's ungraded that look to be in decent condition?

I think you are looking into 8 BTC if the coin is good condition.

The 5BTCs were Nickel, rather than brass, all 2012

Series 1, with the same 'printed on' error hologram, as the 2011 series 1 error 1 BTC
Series 2, with the same 'windowed' hologram, as the 2011 series 2 1 BTC (no error)

I am sending a couple of series 2 5's to the graders today (turnaround time at ANACS is currently 3 - 4 weeks). These are for a friend of mine, but I know they will be looking to sell once returned. If you are still looking when they get back from ANACS, I will give you a shout.

Thanks for that, I'm not familiar with the 5BTC coins. Updated title.

I have PM'd you.

I should also add that good quality non-graded coins will take preference over just graded, unless it has a good grade.

Agreed, there have been a lot of Casascius Series 1 Errors popping up for sale recently. One reason could be the recent hacking attempt of the forum- an email went out to all members old and new to reset their password. It could have reminded a lot of people about their forgotten BitcoinTalk accounts & early Cas coins.
It also could be hacked accounts. I am sure there are a lot of pictures of these coins out there so I don't think it would be hard to use those pictures and then edit them to appear to be owned by the account posting.

This environment is a perfect example as to why you should always verify the signature (and to get a GPG / bitcoin signed message) as well to use escrow).

What do these usually grade? And why is the market suddenly 'full' of them. It's the first time in a while that I've seen quite a few of them for sale all at once.
well brass in general don't grade too well. So I'd say a brass MS66 is equivalent to a silver MS67. Also, I'm looking to get just this one coin and I'm selling off everything else. I need to slow down on the trading in so I won't mind settling for just this one coin. I do agree that it is strange that many are all of a sudden for sale.

Title says it.

Please PM me some prices. I already have one price.

We'll discuss things like escrow and so on closer to the sale.
