hey, a while back i tried to set up a business sending wine to the US, customs is a ginormous bitch and they are very careful as to what comes in and out (something to do with bearded guys, didn't follow the whole story...) also you may not send any alocohol through the post.

point being, if you want to send spirits to the US USPS is out, FedEx and UPS too (they have a policy of collaborating with the gov't on these matters)

your best bet would be either a private courrier service or courriering them yourself to get all the different boozes from all over the world.

or you know, go to a fancy liquor shop and buy everything..

PS all that said if you're looking for any fine french vintages and you're willing to risk seizure (hedging that risk with creative packaging of course) I'll be happy to do some business with you.

If you can deal with the customs risk and want decent single malt, I spend a lot of time in Glasgow and can ship basically anything you could possibly want from there...

Now we're talking. Can you get Old Pulteney 17/21 at a decent price?

If it is coming from a foreign country, good luck. Customs will enjoy their expensive bottle of liquor you purchased them.

Not necessarily - I used to order absinthe from Europe before you could buy it in the states. It was sent by private courier and I never had any problem. There was a chance, though, of it being seized.

Looking for something not sold in the US. I just bought a house with a full restaurant style bar and I'm trying to stock it up.

Interested in:

rum
single malt whiskey
silver/gold tequila
vodka

again, I'm not looking for something I can buy at a package store, I'm interested in vintage, private reserve bottles, etc.
