Thanks for the advice spam_vt. I guess you're right it may be less hassle, although when I bought the little bit of btc I had to provide very little personal information whereas I heard some exchanges ask you for full name, address, email address, phone #, etc... even sending of documents. I heard btc-e doesn't request too much which attracts many traders but they don't carry DOGE yet.
I may be getting my hands on some doge. I have no reputation and only registered yesterday, but if you wanted to trade some from me i would love to build some reputation
You can just buy DOGE on an exchange, much easier than negotiating forum trades. I know cryptsy has had huge delays on DOGE transactions, but BTer is running smoothly. You can have your coins in and out in 30 minutes.
