First rule is that you cannot buy someone's account or it's popularity or it's work.
There is no such rule in the forum. According to the forum rule, there is no problem to buy an account/trust/merit or something like that.
2) You cannot buy Merit either from someone's and that's cheating.
Anyone can buy merit but the community can tag negatively. Probably you have already exchanged merit proof on [urlhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5429955.msg61481755#msg61481755]this post[/url].
3) you cannot make multiple accounts
It is obviously wrong. You can create thousands or more accounts. Many reputed users have multiple accounts eg: darkstar, loyecev, and many more.

4) You cannot come here to Scam people
It is not a written rule on this forum but it is not ethical and anyone can tag if their is any scam activity.

3) you cannot make multiple accounts
You may use as many multiple accounts as you like as long as one of them is not banned, specific prohibitions you meant are usually if you join the same campaign.

Quote
2) You cannot buy Merit either from someone's and that's cheating.
There are certain activities that actually don't break the rules but are hated by the community, such as sending merits to the alt account and then sending them back to the main account.

One case example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3469024 main account
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3436525 alt account 1
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3524483 alt account 2

You see? it's a recognized pattern easily Tongue

All these notations will not help the OP; if he has a goal, then he will achieve it sooner or later. There are a lot of suggestions outside the forum; maybe he will use them.
But OP, be aware that in order to participate in bitcoin paid subscription companies, you need a good post history, and you also need a good rank, and all good things are very expensive these days.
In addition, after the purchase, without knowing the rules, you can also devalue your account by receiving a negative tag, and it will not necessarily be your fault; incidents happen when a person must take responsibility for another owner. And after the excuse that I did not do this because I did not know this or that, they will no longer be accepted. As a result, money is going down the drain.
Draw your conclusions.

I'd like to buy a bitcointalk account, but I can't find an escrow manager that accepts this kind of escrow. If you do, please drop me a message.

Excuse me if it's against the rules. I had read it isn't. I don't know if this rule changed since I used to be here.
Hi brother you are newbie and I know you do not know the rules.
1)
First rule is that you cannot buy someone's account or it's popularity or it's work.
2) You cannot buy Merit either from someone's and that's cheating.
3) you cannot make multiple accounts
4) Do not use abruption and violated chat.
4) You cannot come here to Scam people

And I hope that something might help you that I just mentioned and also when you might read. And Maybe you will not read it at all.

I just want to add a signature, so I can get into one of these signature campaigns and price my posts. I don't want to wait for half a year, posting for free.
You're joining Bitcointalk for the wrong reasons. This is a forum, not an ATM.

Here's my stance on escrowing account trades: [click-bait] Should I start escrowing accounts?
TL;DR: ain't gonna happen.

Why do you guys act like it's something morally incorrect? I don't want to impersonate anybody. I just want to add a signature, so I can get into one of these signature campaigns and price my posts. I don't want to wait for half a year, posting for free.

This is primarily a forum where various things are discussed, not a place where you come to make money. If that's your main motive, then you're already in trouble, because you won't be anything more than a classic shitposter, and you'll be lucky if one of the forum detectives doesn't realize that you have a purchased account and you don't get a red tag.

Still, it's your decision, no one can stop you from buying an account, take a risk and see what happens.

Then you do not deserve the rank and reputation earned on that account both positive or negative. The ranks are not for sale, the reputation of an account earn are not for sale too. It's something you achieve.

Still there are people who buy and sell accounts but that's an under-table business. In the deal you are always at risk of getting exposed and once exposed you will find yourself in a very bad shape unless in the mean time you have done something extra ordinary to contribute in the community. Not everyone have this mindset. Most of the buyers buy it just to earn from signature, they do not understand the value of the community so they continue spamming to get paid.

isn't it incorrect that you are going to hide behind someone else's reputation?

if you manage to find a reputed escrow for this business, I believe that the escrow will have to know which account is the subject of the sale. there is a high probability that your new account will be marked negatively already by the escrow service. therefore, you will damage the potential and "value" of that account.
you should definitely think about regular participation in the forum and creating your own reputation from zero.

Lol. Wouldn’t we all want to get into these signature campaigns and price our posts?
I think if you can’t build up a reputation for yourself overtime “posting for free” and primarily getting knowledge and information about bitcoin, then in my opinion, you don’t deserve to be paid for your posts. But then, that’s just my opinion.

I hope that the OP will find a reliable person who will help him get an account so that he can work on signature campaigns.

I hope that he won't find anyone, because the fact that he thinks that such things are correct does not surprise me, because he is possibly a beginner - while you, as an old member, think that it is normal to buy a BTT account to work in signature campaigns... You are sending the wrong message with your post, it is not right to buy an account, nor should someone be on this forum only and exclusively for the sake of work. Unfortunately, considering the amount of spam in some boards, many are here for exactly that reason.

Wrong and wrong. There aren't rules for such activities in the forum (just like scams aren't moderated). However, the community members will understand that the account is controlled by a new owner (by the posting style, activity change in different boards, etc.), and he will be tagged (neutral tag).
Having multiple accounts is also allowed unless you dont have any previously banned account related to your IP address.
Eg. LoyceV has 2 accounts (one he uses on his phone and other main one from pc) and its completely ok.
Great to hear that you have found a rule on the forum that buying/selling an account is a violation of the forum. As further as I know there is no restriction by the forum rule to buy/sell accounts. But as it can increase spam/scam anyone can negatively to the user who will buy/sell any forum account.
Yes, you guys are right. I checked the forum rules again and found that account sales are allowed, but it is not recommended to sell accounts. Thank you for correcting what I said. I hope that the OP will find a reliable person who will help him get an account so that he can work on signature campaigns. Newbie rank I think all of the signature campaigns, or maybe most of them, do not allow this rank to participate with them, so many people want to buy forum accounts in order to use them to work and make money.

EDIT:
It is not impossible, man. You can work hard on your account and publish valuable posts, and you will get merits. Then you will get a good rank without the need to buy any account on the forum, or you can pay some fees to purchase a Copper membership to enable and post images and get some of the benefits of being a normal member.

You can look for escrow managers with high ranks and positive trust in the forum boards who will help you in buying and selling accounts, and stay away from dealing with Newbies; also be careful of scammers who sell hacked accounts from someone because you may lose access to the account that you purchased one day.

Even if you don't have a intention to spam with but this has been highly discouraged act to do since account buying is not really recommended here.

You might just waste your money for doing that since you might get a red trust for doing such activity. Much better if you do extra effort to rank up your account and start from scratch since ranking up is much fulfilling than thinking about shortcut to get your desired rank on short period of time.

It is not against the rule but it can increase spam/scam so if you do not lock this thread I have to tag you.
He's looking to buy an account. You really think he cares if you tag his newbie account lol? Buying and selling accounts is not against the rules but it discouraged by the community. Most are buying an account to participate in sig campaigns, the only accounts that would really be considered good to buy for scams would be reputable users. Being a hero or legendary doesn't make you reputable at all, but some seem to think so.

@bitcoinsFTW9, my advice to you is not to buy a BTT account, not only for the reason that it will be difficult to find a reliable escrow for such a transaction, but also because most of those who sell accounts do not actually sell anything, but are ordinary scammers.

In addition, it is not difficult to reach Jr.Member or Member rank, and if you want to avoid some limitations of lower ranks, you can buy copper membership.

Because you don't have time in the forum, don't learn about forum rules, you will use your bought account very bad. Your posts will be no quality, have no contribution..
Not that it's your business, but I'll have to gently disagree.

Buying and selling accounts are not prohibited but discouraged.

18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged.

Your bought account will be tagged by DT members to make it mostly useless.

Whether you want to spam or not, buying an account is generally seen as at the very least something shady. Lots of people will give you negative trust for that. You basically buy the reputation of somebody else. Whether you have a malicious purpose or not, we don't know, and verifying it is impossible. I'd suggest you just continue posting here and build a reputation on your own. At the end of the day, a rank of an account is a mirror of your contribution to the forum (most of the time at least).

Oh, but I'm not going to spam with it. I really don't have this intention.

Again, if somebody can handle my money with another person's account (and do us the switch), I'm willing to pay for it. I can't trust newbie sellers, and I neither ask them to trust me.

Well, people here recommend escrow when dealing someone especially if you're a newbie or dealing to a newbie.
Also, people here discouraged bitcointalk account sales for many reasons including scam and spam although its not agaisnt the rules. Also, escrows are not discourage to accept such deals only those who buy and sell. But despite that very reason you rarely seen escrow that accepts such deals, or maybe just maybe they will accept but for higher price. Who knows, most deals like this are private.
