I have 4GB of high performance DDR3 if you're interested for the right price in BTC. Weather i sell it or not isn't really that big a deal so I haven't bumped it much.

I had a dual 6850 machine in my hands a while back and I actually thought dual 5830 felt more fluid.
The quad 5770 is a bit overkill. My own home system has 4 in it, but only 3 are in CF config (the fourth is for possible mining and just there because it was a spare). The 5770 is a great gaming card because of its power use and clock speed. I tried dual 5830, tri 5830 (ran smoother, but the power draw on the system caused some issues with some specific gpu functions like bloom or such). The 5770 is powerful enough that in dual it is more than enough, and tri or quad, its epic with low power.

If you live near LA, I have a system that paly BF3, MW3,NFS:The Run and Skyrim on ultra. I sell this build for pickup on craigslist for $650. (phenom x4, 4x5770, 16gb ddr3, ect, sexy beast too).
that makes no sense whatsoever

Really?

4 HD5770s Crossfired
and, or well i put a second R in DDR instead of a D
But 16gb DDR3 ram. (I use 12, buts thats choice)
no, i meant that the setup doesn't make sense from a performance perspective. you'll never use 16 gb of ram, even if you're a developer with 10 instances of Visual Studio open. and you're certainly not going to use 16 gb of ram playing any game in the near future. as for the 5770 crossfire, i'm not sure why you would put 4 poor cards in crossfire, at all.

I end up approaching that level of memory usage thanks to those lovely things called virtual machines but what do i know i've got that in a laptop.
as far as the 5770's if he uses it for games by night and mining by day it's not a bad setup, if it's just for games though why is he getting a radeon at all ;p

i have dual 6870's in my machine and i can run pretty much everything max with AA.

i love this place... threadcrap central.... i think i'll chime in

5770's are TERRIBLE at scaling. You'd be better off selling those 4 5770's and buying a 6950 or 6870 - you'd get about the same performance at like 50% less power usage.

as far as the 16gb of ram - unless you're rendering 3D, working with like 50megapixel images in PS, or running a sql database for a fortune 500 it is pretty much useless.
You stupid idiot, Shak IS selling the 5770's
16gb ram= a shiny factor, And something you could pull/place into another comp, Or, Have a HUGE superfetching file of like 11gb rammed up, Making everything perform faster, Because you dont need to pull anything off the HDD, it's already for you sittin in the ram, Superfetch is badass like that. You could also turn off your Pagefile with that much ram (not a good idea) But you totally could

so angry.

Looking for a setup that could run SWTOR/BF3/SKYRIM with ease on high settings. I also need the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Not sure how we would work out payment and such, have to have some sort of middle man. Please reply with your specs, any pictures you have, and how much you're looking to get. Thank you.

I may have some of what you're looking for, see my thread, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-electronics-pc-hardware-for-btc-updated-bitcoin-prices-as-of-462013-40323.
