Can someone explain to me why this is profitable (or not)
All depends on market understanding and personal predictions of different coins.
Personally I prefer to buy multiple coins at once and slowly piece them out to afford to buy higher sought after coins.
Im looking for loaded ltc coins ATM because I still believe LTC has the potential for massive growth in the future and have begun accumulation mostly 1 ltc loaded coins and those get put in the safety box so I dont do anything stupid with them, Currently looking to expand this collection.
Can someone explain to me why this is profitable (or not)

I sold my loaded litecoins but I have some smoothie funded bitcoins on auction right now, ending in less than 36 hours from now.
I assume you mean the ones that were funded my Smoothie himself.
There are loads of the 2013 series available but lots have the Buyer Funded mark or have been self funded without the marked hologram.
