Hello Abiky,

I would also be interested in a gold coin (1/2oz). Why don't we make one ourselves? We could design it and developp it together. And maybe find 2 or 3 people as well (1 guy on twitter asks me for a gold version of the Alpen Coin gold plated bar) and we could make a limited edition of 5? We share the costs (mould cost, gold,...).
DM me if it could be something.

Cheers.

Frank

I would love that very much. Sent you a DM.  Wink

Hey guys. I’m 100% onboard and would like to be involved. IMHO…  nothing beats solid gold LOADABLE collectibles. Im willing to help with cost up front as well. Please let me know.

I’m in for 1 as well.

Although not solid gold nor a coin...the 24k Ballets are nice as well and within your budget.

Thanks for your suggestion. But I already have one of those 24k Ballets. Was willing to try something new. A soild gold Bitcoin would be a great addition to my collection.

I'm still looking for a solid gold physical Bitcoin within my budget. Denariums have brought up my attention. Looking for a 1/2 oz gold Denarium Bitcoin. If someone is willing to sell me one, feel free to contact me via PM. I will accept the best offer. Thanks.  Smiley

These 2oz .9999 gold NastyFans minted seats exist and would likely serve as a nice solid gold physical wallet for Bitcoin storage: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2oz-9999-gold-nastyfans-minted-seats-1306251

However, that's a bit of a moot point as they are not within your budget.  Still, they're the cheapest ones I've made and you don't see too many gold ones around.  I'm sure others will chime in with other options closer to your budget, but for a gold coin complete with a trustworthy key it might be a tough find at that price.

Now that's an impressive coin. But it's way out of my budget. I'd need to keep saving Bitcoin to be able to buy it. I'll be putting this on my wish list of physical crypto collectibles.  Wink

Denarium sold solid gold coins that were loaded with BTC...the gold parity in 2017...some were sodl unfunded.

Interesting. I will look more into these soild gold Denarium coins. And yet I've thought they only made gold plated ones. If there's a solid gold Denarium available, I'll buy it. But only if my budget allows it.  Smiley

The cost of manufacturing coins/holograms are quite high, especially when making custom dies.
Using gold as the primary metal usually commands significantly higher premiums as there are fewer coins to spread the cost over.
Traditionally, when playing with gold, most coin makers rely on preorders to ensure the project costs can be met.
I’m not aware of many loadable gold BTC collectibles, but even so, your budget might not necessarily cover whatever is out there.
Either way, here are a few items that you could look into (both funded and unfunded):

https://www.titanbtc.com/product/titan-one-gold/ (1oz)
https://status.denarium.com/coin/#/F0113 (1oz)
https://status.denarium.com/coin/#/F0114 (1/2oz)
https://status.denarium.com/coin/#/F0116  (1/2oz)
https://status.denarium.com/coin/#/F0129 (1oz)
https://status.denarium.com/coin/#/F0200 (1oz)

An alternative might be to buy a 1oz mint bar/coin and assemble with your own keys/hologram. Check out some of the valcambi range. They have some plain/smooth surface items that could make converting them into a wallet pretty neat.

Denariums have brought my attention. But I don't know much about prices. How much are these gold coins worth? I've received an offer for a 1/2 oz gold Denarium Bitcoin but not sure if it's a good price. Will let you know asking price over PM upon request.

I'm looking for a physical Bitcoin that's made of soild gold (NO PLATING) which doubles as a cold storage wallet. So far, I haven't had any luck as most solid gold coins out there don't have the ability to load Bitcoins on them.

I have a $2.5k budget. If you happen to have any coin for sale, please let me know by replying to this thread or sending me a PM. I will take the best offer. Escrow would be preferred for this transaction. Thanks for looking.  Smiley
