nah you save that shit forver and maybe turn it back on some day.
most of the parts are reusable fans and cases can be repurposed...hashboards you can set aside if other miners burn...heatsinks and not fully damaged boards can be sent to sidehack or jstefanop or crazyguy...sometimes they do cool stuff with em.
sidehack makes custom btc stuff and jstefanop the custom scrypt stuff...crazyguy is just crazy.
it's similar to building a pc only with proprietary parts and programming, hence the reason many people build gpu rigs.
100% of your mining equipment can be recycled into another purpose, even if you're just melting it down for base elements.
