If you havent gotten this worked out yet, I'm driving into Greenville, SC tomorrow and I don't mind picking some up. Give me the heads up however, will most likely be out there around 2:00ish-3:00 Eastern (I live in Greenwood, SC).

I'm pretty sure you have already surmised shipping is going to eat you alive. If I do indeed get it, can freeze it all and ship it out Tuesday morning. I have USPS and Fedex available in my area (research which one is the cheapest; USPS drops the ball at times)''

just shoot me a pm, ill stay on top of my inbox

Now if only  I could get Zapps brand potato chips from my home state with BTC......

lolwut, we shop at publix weekly. i can pack it up in a Styrofoam cooler with those freezer packs and ship it to you or just freeze the tea in the gallon jugs and pack in a styrofoam cooler. It is only a 3 day trip to you, they will still be ice cold when they arrive. Let me know bud.

a styrofoam cooler with ice packs sounds ideal. lets see what realestone was going to do, im waiting on a quote from him.

ill send you a pm anyway.

I have heard that you can call other stores and have them ship it to you, I was considering doing this for some polski wyrob pickles that you can only get up north (my mom used to get them for us in the 70's, 80's), but alas can only ship in 2-5 gallon buckets worth. I looooove those pickles but 2-5 gallons of them, no thanks.

Does anyone know if their sweet tea can actually be mailed safely? I know they keep it all in the fridge at the store. Do you think going from cold to 80+ degrees on a delivery truck would be bad? I dont think they use preservatives in their tea.

Tea only lasts so long , plus its gonna be about 100 degrees. Chances are it will be a pretty pointless venture. You can try Cracker Barrel if there are any around. I know that was like the only place I could get it when I went to St. Louis. Damn it feels good to be in Bama...as I sip this refreshing sweet tea  Wink

Publix only exists in the south? Whoa. I never noticed that. Even though I've lived in both the north AND south.

Sounds incredibly expensive. Cheaper to hire a grandma to make it. Tongue

Srsly though, good luck

It would weigh about 40lbs. UPS ground, no problem.

God that stuff is good.  Will be down in Sept and can get some then if you want just PM me.

I know right!

I will take you up on it if no one steps up before then.

I moved up north and their sweet tea sucks.

I would like to pay someone to purchase 2-5 gallons of Publix sweet tea and ship it to me.

Anyone interested in helping me out?
