Not that I am advising you to void your warranty or do anything dangerous, but a good cleaning with a very small amount of contact cleaner and a brush can often "fix" a bad laptop battery. I've had lots of laptops that went from 5 minutes use on battery to 1/2 an hour or more. My record is not detected by system -> 2 hours useful time, worth a shot I think.
anyone have one of these that holds a charge? and how much are you asking.
