I bought pair of sp20 two week ago, and still do not see any reason to buy any equipment above 200$/GH. All mining profits theoretics can continue their discussions in other topic.

did you get one yet?  prices are still high and 9 days of mining passed since you posted for that price.

 9 x 2.5 = 22.50 or more in usd you lost.

Not that what you are trying to do is bad but sometimes the market does not help it happen.

Right now bitmaintech wants 419 shipped to the usa for a new s-5   so at best you will pay 400-425 shipped for an sp20e to your home.

remember the s-5 won't arrive until april 1  so 28 days of mining will have passed since you mined.

This is a seller's market today, but wait a week or two it can change.

 Huh

Sorry my ignorance but, why is the SP20 more desirable than the SP3x?

Power requirements and noise.

Makes sense. Thanks.

If you're still looking check the ebay thread

Spondoolies SP20E JACKSON

Spondoolies SP20E JACKSON

1.2 BTC for one or 3.5 for the 3 units.

 Cool

Yeah it was a buyers market back on January 19th when it hit $160 or so right now all the miners are getting snatched up.

We will probably get an S6 from bitmain eventually and there was talk of an S2 upgrade kit, but besides that I don't think bitmain will release anything vastly superior to the S5 for a while either.  Difficulty seems to be plateauing, BTC price is rising, and there aren't many options for purchasing efficient SHA-256 ASICs right now.  It's a seller market.

Bitmain, maybe. Spondoolies is inbetween chip generations and probably won't have a deployable miner for a couple months.

I have recent deals by this price and i don't think we have so much time before Spondoolies or Bitmain release new equipment.

you are better off asking 425 or 440.

Right now no new gear is for sale other then avalon 4.1 at 525 usd..

More then likely nothing will be released until mid april or later.
