It's a strange one - checkout the video I sent to Bitmain:

They couldn't work it out either. The only thing I've not replaced is the base plate, absolutely everything else has been replaced, including the ribbon connectors. I'm just going on the "process of elimination" thing......

what's broken on your base plate?
Maybe it could be fixed.
PM me with details, and maybe I'll be able to help or point you at what to look for fixing it.
