I can't design for crap, but my concept is an Erlenmeyer flask or one of these potion bottles with Bitcoin or the BTC symbol or logo shimmering in the liquid. Emphasis on tonic.

I would really really like to thank every designer for their work. In my Private Messages I also received a lot of good work and it was really hard to make a choice.

But we picked a designer and I hope I am able to show our logo soon.

(this forum rocks!)

Hey Jouke, I would love to make this logo for you. If you end up deciding to just contract the work to someone maybe you can check out my work in my signature. I wouldn't charge you any more than 3 bitcoins for this.

I sent a PM but now I have permissions to post here so I will...

The first design was my Idea for the lettering alone:

I think its quite funky

Here are some Ideas of what could be done to complement the lettering (If the above is not funky enough Wink )

If you choose my designs pretty much all aspects can be changed to suit your website (e.g. colour scheme etc).

What does your company actually do?  You said it helps newbies, but how exactly do you do it?
We make it easy to acquire, maintain and spend bitcoins. Our services are definitely not limited to newbies!

I was bored and I'm not really a designer (coders can't design Tongue). I mainly made this to get rid of my boredom

Bitonic (anagram of bitcoin) is a Dutch company, found and run by three friends that try to make Bitcoin easily accessible to everyone. We like the concept of bitcoin more than the idea of making money out of it.  Although we remain professional, we do like a joke once in a while Smiley. As we are proud nerds these jokes often revolve around nerd stuff; like sending our 1337st customer a .1337 amount of bitcoins. Beside the jokes, most of our time is spent on improving our software and on talking to regulatory agencies, (central) banks and all kinds of government.

We would like a professional corporate logo, but with a twist Wink.

We really have no idea on what it should look like and because of that, we find it really hard to contact a specific designer. This is why I want to suggest designers make a real basic sketch and submit it in this topic or in a PM to me. After a week we will pick the logo that appeals most to us and work with the designer on making it look perfect.

And before anyone suggests a site like rogatu, I want to say I like this forum so I would like to keep this question on this forum.
