Yeap, I would sell them if someone here in Brasil wanted (For the money I spent on getting them here of course, I'm not opening a business).

But at this time none appeared, and/or the shipping is terribly expensive.

Thanks everyone so far.

Undervolt/Underclock and then yes, mining while putting them for sell too. There is people that would like to start onto Cryptocoin world, just don't wan't to spend a potload on a S5 and above (at least not at the beginning).

Cheers

I'm open to S3's too.

You want someone to donate miner to you, so you can sell it? And you admit it openly?  Shocked Cheesy

Thanks for the replys everyone.

adaseb, are u insane? 40% tax here? it's more like 60~100%,  Wink Cry
and yes, shipping suck too.

Thats why I'm interested on the old-as-f*ck S1, to see how "smartass" they are at customs, some rules changed there and they are not allowed to tax when the item is under U$100 and shipped between persons. USPS usually is less expensive than U$100 to send here, although DHL beats all being the most expensive (But delivers in a couple of days).

Power here ain't free nor cheap (power billing here rip like 15~20% monthly of my payment, it's like U$0,20/KWh).

cavaliersrus, I'm PM you my address details, so we can check how much will shipping really cost.

VirosaGITS, uehueuheu indeed, it will probably be cheaper to travel there and get them back into the luggage.

why you possibly need S1 in brazil even if the power is not cheap... sure is not for mining right?

He can forget it, even if he gets someone to actually ship the item, customs in Brazil will charge him like 40% tax of what that Antminer S1 was brand new (retail price $2000). So around $800 in duty and customs alone to release the item to him.

Its one of the worse countries to ship electronics too, and where the iPhone is most expensive to buy.

Somebody last year bought a bunch of miners and tried to ship it to Brazil and it ended up being seized by customs. There is a thread about it somewhere in the scam accusations thread.

I think they got free electricity there which is too bad since its impossible to import any miners there.

The shipping will probably be like $100 alone. I shipped an item to Brazil once and it was very very expensive.
