Exactly, it is insane these exchanges are obviously part of the scam. Look at rubycoin, it was out 2 hours listed and trading.

It launched 2 hours early, with no windows qt, and a huge premine. They are probably unloading right now their copy and paste crapclone already. At current prices if they could offload it gradually it would net them around 500 BTC...

not bad for a copy and paste job with zero innovation.

So what is up with the new exchanges (or semi-future exchanges) and the culture of bribing? Here are a few examples constantly promoted (possibly by the site owners under several usernames they created themselves):

mintpal.com
cryptorush.in
allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php <- Not even an exchange!!)

The last one is not even an exchange. Its a FUTURE exchange (who knows if it will ever be) but is already asking you to pay them off to get your coin listed.

Voting for your coin to be listed is fine. PAYING FOR YOUR VOTE or extra vote is not.

I propose that these bribery sites be banned altogether from bitcointalk.org. Please show your support. This is probably one of the reasons why people on the bitcoin side think altcoins are full of scam artists.

From WIKIPEDIA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bribery
"Bribery is an act of giving money or gift giving that alters the behavior of the recipient. Bribery constitutes a crime and is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty."

It's called 'greed culture'. Greed is bad for business. It is gonna cost them on the long run, when the equilibrium gets distorted. People will turn to some other exchange. There is a bar on the bribe, if you go over it you'll be smacked down by some other exchange. Reasonable profit on the other hand, is extremely good for business.

There are also some limits on the issues you have on an exchange, community won't stand that for long.

There is always a possibility of common sense, not seen much around here.

Its all part of the altcoin scam that is going on right now.

These guys work in teams.

Coin is announced
Coin is launched with a premine for marketing/promo etc.
Pools are paid off as well as exchanges.
Coin is pumped with marketing, giveaways and other things.
Premine is dumped crashing the coin.
The coin is abandoned and a new coin is started.

If you can get away with murder and theft (read scam), on a grand scale, it will continue until someone stops it dead in its tracks. Wouldn't you agree to that?

not sure I'd call it theft, nobody is stealing anything... if these devs can find enough idiots to support such an obvious shitcoin, then its not stealing.... and btw, I would imagine you can only fool the same person once, so I would guess that the people that have been supporting the previous scamcoins will learn their lesson, making it harder for future scamcoins to get any support - that is how they will stop

But asking for bribes for your coin to be considered sometime in the future, MAYBE, is complete BS.

Why are the mods allowing this? I dont get it.

Alcrypt is not even an EXCHANGE for FK sake!
