It's Indonesian, not a 3rd world language, but one of the most spoken language in the world, spoken by almost 200 million people. I think, since it is a quite new account, he didn't read the forum rules so well.
No need to be so aggressive towards him/her.
That's all irrelevant.  The main forum here is in English.  I wouldn't dream of going
to a French language forum and expect them to tolerate my posts in English.  That's almost
common sense, but that seems to be lacking here.

It doesn't matter if a person only speaks English.  You're expected to post in that language
here.  Not being able to write it correctly makes it harder for people who speak it well to
understand, and it's very frustrating.  If your command of English is limited, your range of
expression is limited, and if you can't express things well, your posts are going to be
garbage.  That's the logic here.

moderation works: i reported said user and pretty much all posts of him/her were deleted.
it seems that most people just dont care and do not report it.

everytime i reported something like this it got deleted immediately.
i guess if somebody doesn't learn he has to suffer consequences.
as far as I can judge the system works.

Well there are language rules because this is a forum. Why not read the forum rules first before posting? Besides, if that person wants to post in their own language, there is a dedicated section for that.

Use the "Report to moderator" feature to report posts and users to moderation staff.

Ok

Does it really bother you all that much? Just put the user on ignore.

What? So it is fine that everyone post in his native language in an english forum?

How about go to btc.africa or so?
No it's not alright, and in my experience mods do delete posts made in the wrong language.   I report them all the time.

No need to make a thread about this, just keep reporting these posts when you see them.   Glad to see someone cares enough to notice it and do something.   By the way, when I click on that link it says "no results found", so I think mods moved or deleted whatever that post was.

Of course they are rules here. Bitcointalk is a huge community which is hard to control. In my opinion we don't have enough moderators. Also, not everyone uses "Report to moderator" fuction, it's really helpful for forum's staff. I don't understand people who can't post in a proper section, what's hard to do it right?
