Yes please do unsubscribe from my threads. I appreciate the offer.  As I mentioned in my other post, and most of the internet supports me on this, people who troll for sale ads have a personal problem. Especially with comparisons that don't makes sense.  Like comparing S3 to S5 or S7 .. Obviously price expectancy gets worse as you lower your range.

With your calculations I could buy a 100hp engine for $1000 so the 10hp motor should be $100.  That's all you've said here but it doesn't apply at all.

I could rip apart all your dumb theories and screen shots but in that process you would learn something and why would I want to feed a troll with anything useful. Go on continuing to make $5/m on the S5. You're doing great.

Sold  .. obviously not through here since price responders and cheapskates replied first.  $100 and I included a free power supply that was not miner compatible. only enough juice to power one side only and I don't hold much of a value to that.

People who reply to for sale ads to say it will not sell are the textbook definition of a loser.

People who sees crypto as watts and hash rates through a mining calculator are largely clueless.
That applies at the investment level and not the $100 hobbyist level.

I've sold some recently at $100 CAD locally.

They are much better miners than stick miners and they also have wifi which is a plus. So for a beginner its a perfect miner to start. They are also quiet compared to S4,S5,S7 which is another plus.

In general all miners no matter how old or new, are overpriced. And also unless you got free electricity you shouldn't be buying an S3 either way. You shouldn't even be buying an S5 if you pay for power because you will never make the money back.

I'm pretty much done with ASIC mining because I can't compete with the increasing difficulty and I can't pay 6 month ROI what most people are asking. Rather just get a GPU which has a 30 days ROI and low depreciation.

Yeah, I'll also jump in just to say that's way too expensive for an s3. Virosa knows his shit.
I just bought an sp20 (over 3x the speed and can undervolt) for $130.

If you think you can get that much on kjiji/ebay, list them there.

Those aren't facts.

  Facts would be a link to ebay, a link to a proven sale, a proven supporting theory.

Quick look on ebay / kijiji in my local area.

3 x S3 + 1 Power supply $550 CAD
1 x S3 avg selling price $100 CAD - actually the home users like me are asking $125
1 x S3 mining farm beaters ebay $95 CAD buy it now

Its all moot because anybody who responds to a for sale ad to tell you it's not worth has always proven to be a loser. Price responders are the cheapos of the internet who want it but can't have it and often come with the most demented supporting facts. I think we used to call it story telling in can.forsale.

Please go and start a thread if you want to debate profits and mining.

You're way off on a tangent here. I'm going to give you concise and clear facts to help you stay on tract. Then if you want to shove your head into the sand and just ignore me, i dont mind;

You;
-75$ for 455GH/s at stock = 0.16$/GH/s at 0.7x efficiency.

Forum, here, not ebay, not kijiji, not craig. Right here, right now in this forum, even i would sell my S5's at 0.17$/GH/s which would be a better deal than your S3;
-150$ for 1155GH/s at stock = 0.13$/GH/s at 0.5x efficiency.

Bitmain;
-720$ before coupons for 4730GH/s at stock = 0.15$/GH/s at 0.28~ efficiency.

So i'm not making a debate here, just giving you facts, you're asking for more for your S3 per GH than better/more efficient hardware.

You can do whatever you want, but replying with insults and "you dont know what you're talking about", isint going to change said facts. If you want me to unsubscribe from your threads just say so.

don't you respond to every for-sale post and say that  ??  nothing is worth it, you can offer only xxx,  i don't think its worth that much.  do you have a second hobby beside being extremely cheap/stupid and taking part in public discussion to show this.

Lol $5 / month ,, you have to be one big idiot.

I was stating facts, which seem to be hard to grasp for you, considering i neutrally replied to your comment and you're throwing insults like this is kid school all over. For your convenience, i took a screenshot of an S5 at 0.06$/kWh.

I trust i don't need to circle the relevant values in red? Profit per month is indeed under 5$.

It is also fact that you're asking 0.16$/GHs versus the S5's 0.1~0.12$/GHs. So you're asking easily for 50% more for it than a S5, which is more efficient and more compact.

I can only ship within Canada - anywhere else would not be practical.

The problem is, winter is ending, so the heating is no longer needed. And with 0.06$/kWh it would profit 5$ per month... And with the insane diff increase, that will probably fall to negative soon.

If you have it just idling, maybe i could run it here soon for a while, but considering you can get a S5 for just a bit over 125$, 75$ for a S3 is quite a bit too much right now.

1 lonely antminer from a power supply swap.

$75 US
$100 CAD
0.16 BTC

+ shipping

please note this is a top running unit.. We are talking 500gh/s without any hickups.  I just don't have enough power left and don't want to buy a power supply for one small unit.
