Hi everyone!

I hit the big ticket (see thread here) and need to pay off some debt so I'm looking to sell 10 BTC via bank wire, cash deposit, Paypal (Trusted or 60 day wait to prevent chargebacks), or Escrow. If you have another option message me. No OK Pay or anything similar. You pay fees, 15% over market sounds fair.

Any increments is fine from 1 satoshi up to 10 BTC. I'll send 'em with zero fees so allow 1 - 7 day for confirmations. They'll be on Block Explorer for immediate verification of course.

Just stick it on Localbitcoins dude .. sell it in 1-2 BTC increments at 15% + Market... easy..

Maybe I'll do that next time, but it was fun and it helped the forum. Plus I met and talked with many members I wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm happy.  Cheesy

you are really weird person, paying bitcoin fees is needed for bitcoin to growth, paying 0.25 cents for a transaction is not expensive and its just hurting the ecosytem more than doing any good, 60 days does not protects you.

Ok Reynaldo......I guess that's what's great about Bitcoin, you can be "weird" and or you can be Reynaldo and nobody cares as long as you have coins.

I have, and DO pay fees when I want the confirmation to happen quickly. It's those times when I don't care if it takes 30 minutes (most of the time) that I don't pay fees. Why should I tip extra when I'm not in a rush? Even Paypal lets you send to F&F for free. Bitcoin is much better than PP!

Have a great day!

New to the buying and selling part of BTC....

Why not just sell the bitcoin on an exchange?  To get around fees?

Good question! Three reasons:

1. Most sites require a verification system of sorts. Exchanging BTC is YOUR business, not Obama's - particularly if you're not based in the USA. Contrary to what many Americans believe, this isn't a planet for them alone.
2. Selling to members here supports the site that taught me everything I know about BTC, raises me up the trust ladder, and helps other members that need the coins. It's a way to give back a little.
3. Pesky fees Smiley

Back and done. All my coins are SOLD! (unless I have problems with three transactions that are being held 60 days)

Thanks for all that traded. You've made this experience a great one. Have a fantastic evening and keep on mining! It works!

I can buy up to 3 BTC through paypal @ bitstamp +5% rate. I'll send a few extra cents for the BTC tx fee so I don't have to worry about you double spending and trying to screw me that way and to also not have to wait a day or so for confirmation.

Not sending first. Not using new or shady escrow sites. I am willing to use any trusted escrow here or escrow at localbitcoins.com.

PM sent Smiley

Done. hodedowe sent first and I sent PayPal. Only took a couple of minutes  Cheesy

15% on paypal is understandable (for a newbie). But bank wire/deposit? No.

So far 15% over seems to have a decent demand. I'm happy, they're happy. 7.03 BTC remaining

Like I said, paypal would be fine, of course. Especially dealing with newbies, one could easily sell 100btc/day. That wouldn't be surprising at all. I'm simply asking about cash deposits/bank wires. Somehow I think that, if you actually have sold 2.97btc, the vast majority of that has come through paypal, assuming it's all been sold @ 15%.

Oh, then we're in agreement. No cash deposit/bank wire yet, only online transfers. If someone would like to do a decent sized (over 1 btc) wire or deposit send me an offer.

Well that address balance is 0 so no.

https://blockchain.info/address/19U8Pg45mH3veQXNYiddtjgA54LGTSK78e

and really, hitting the jackpot while mining and then cheap-skating on the transaction fees yourself, for real

It's empty now, it wasn't when that message was posted. Thats the mined-to address proof of ownership, as requested. And yes, I send no-fee. For real Smiley

If we are looking for confirmation you should sign a message from the address, here's how to do it on multibit https://multibit.org/en/help/v0.5/help_signAndVerifyMessage.html

If you have another client just google

"how to sign a message with "

Nobody will wait 60 days to receive their bitcoins since price can drop and 60 days cant prevent chargebacks, 180 days could prevent chargeback but there are ways around if it was obtained with CC where the bank will chargeback and paypal wont be able to do anything but take your money.

Thanks Reynaldo, I didn't see your message. Here's a signed message if I did it right:

Ummm, the address that the block reward of the block that "you" found was 19U8Pg45mH3veQXNYiddtjgA54LGTSK78e, you have sold 1.85 BTC (at ridiculously high prices BTW), yet the sole output from that block is unspent and you have not sent, nor received any trust for any of the transactions you are claiming to have. Do you care to explain how this is possible?

Sure, this block is not my only BTC, I have a 6 miner farm running on pools. This solo mining experiment is a one year experiment that paid off in two weeks.  Grin

In total I will be selling 10 BTC through bitcointalk, ebay, and another forum. ~1.85 are spoken for, currently 1.5btc are in talks on bitcointalk, and 2.89 are in talks elsewhere. The block you reference is still awaiting 18 more confirmations before it can be spent. Sending you a PM.

Hello if allowed I will pay via Paypal for some BTC I have around $100 will send as "friends and family" you can't dispute those charges unless you claim it wasn't you on account and that kind of thing is checked on. It is a verified account and my virwox is currently maxed. would appreciate if you could help me I have bought 10 btc in hte last fe wmonths but need more Cheesy

$100 would be 0.3 BTC, but you have no trust rating so escrow (you pay fees) or you'll have a 60 day wait. If that's OK PM me.

I have 8.4btc left.

Not waiting 60 days u also have no trust and expect to hold money for 60 days? lol. Thanks anyway I need BTC now not almost in 2016.

That's Ok. You can do Escrow if you like or buy from someone with more trust. I'm not in a burning rush to sell, I just want to be able to tell the credit card company to kiss my butt in 30 days when the next payment is due  Cheesy

Also to other member, I don't have Perfect Money or OKPay or the like.

You got this Bitcoin from basically winning the lottery and you want to sell it for 15% above the market price...

If you are flexible on your price then I would be willing to buy all 10BTC off you. I obviously wouldn't be willing to pay above market rates. If you are looking for a certain amount of money then I would be willing to buy 12BTC off you so you would get the amount of fiat that you need.

I also would not be willing to send first so if you are not comfortable sending first, we can use escrow.

Thanks for the offer. I have 9BTC left. 15% was fair considering some are selling for 25% over. Escrow is great, you pay the fees. I will never, ever send first selling BTC. Learned that lesson the hard way. Buying BTC I have no problem sending first.

 Cheesy
Why don't you sign a message from an address containing at least 9BTC?

I've never messed with signed messages before. If you're looking for comfirmation, CK provides it in the thread.
alright well GLWS. I'm not quite sure why someone would ever consider paying 15% above the market rate when services like coinbase and circle are out there.

If anything changes regarding what rate you are willing to accept shoot me a PM.
