I believe it is vircurex that will allow you to change paypal to bitcoin, although fees are a little high.

I forgot about that option. I'm not sure if Vircurex allows PP -> Bitcoin transfers (never heard of them) but Virwox does. Like he said, fees are high.

Oops that's what I meant, Virwox, not Virvurex, sorry.  Thanks for the correction.

Okay.  I think I might just withdrawal my balance and I'll get in touch with you DebitMe -- I'll send you a message in the next few days, if you wouldn't mind.  Would you tell me how much your rate is for exactly $100?  I know that you can't say that it will be exactly this BTC amount but, perhaps like a percentage?  You can PM me those details or reply on here, whichever you feel more comfortable with.  I would probably Western Union you the money, since it's only $5

Not a problem, just hit me up when your ready.  I can do this for 5% over coinbase spot price and you pay the WU fees.

Okay that's fair enough.  I'll definitely be in touch soon!  Thanks and sorry for the PayPal to Bitcoin.  Last time I did it, that was a good method.. I see a lot has changed! Tongue
Buying bitcoins via paypal has been frowned upon since the beginning. I don't know of a time when paypal was considered a good payment method.

I'm not out to scam anyone.. so, just trying to build trust.  Do you have a better suggestion as in purchase something with said Bitcoin and pay with PayPal, etc.. ?

Ow. Big no-no.

Rule of thumb, only do trades you really need to get done. I think too many of people here focus on trust. Just be on the forum and contribute and do trades here and there (only when you need).

Why do you even want "trust"?

Well, I don't necessarily "need" trust, I just though perhaps it would make future PayPal transactions easier.  But as I've not been around in the Bitcoin community in a long time I see a lot has changed.

So "need" and "want" is very different in this case.  I have $100 on PayPal, that I would like to move into Bitcoin without the other party having to worry about a charge back.  I'm very open to suggestions, I was unaware that PayPal and BTC transactions are a big no-no these days; though, I can see why.  Red flags I'm sure are popping up!

So like I said, very open to suggestions.  I'd just like to get some Bitcoin again as I have none.. with a relatively low risk of investment.

In the future, don't use PayPal and you won't have the difficulties of moving it to bitcoin. I'll tell you what you should do; withdraw it from your bank and then wire it to another person. AFAIK, wiring funds is nonreversible.

Building some rep up, WTS $100 from PayPal to BTC.  Give me your best rate if interested.  Thanks

Paypal can be charged back up to 181 days later.  They always side against bitcoin.
