Is that possible to set up several cloud server as one cluster and mine? I am tired of opening several servers and setup each one.

Thanks,

Yes, but I've never managed to get it to work smoothly.  It requires monitoring.

This is the guide that I followed using "starcluster", disregarding the CUDA parts.

wow, this is even more complicated. But good to know it is achievable. Thank a lot.

How the hack did you mine that many? What is your hpm?
Congrats, you mined atleast 200x more then I did, and I have a i7 with 8gb ram.

I'm not sure of the cumulative hpm but it averages about 8 hpm per machine.  I'm using a mix of a few cloud servers and my own hardware.  I've already tripped my breakers a couple of time for using too much power per circuit.

As for my hardware its made up of some older Dell Servers that I bought from http://www.govdeals.com.  The funny thing is that I'm getting only 16 hpm on my most recent machine yet 8 hpm on the older ones.

So how many machines do you have all together? How many blocks do you get on averadge on 8 hpm machine?

15 bare metal servers and 30 cloud servers.  I really can't say how many blocks I'm getting per machine because they are setup in a cluster.  I can't tell which one actually mined a block.  But I can say that I'm getting very few blocks now.  The last one was at 07:07am.

Hey, thanks for the info Smiley

No problem.

Hmmm, I have 5 @ 8 core dell servers and an i5 Ivy Bridge running 3 cores running for 24 hours and only the i5 has found a block - and only 1.  I have 22 more of the 8 core dells I can start mining with, but based on my success so far with those dells, I am hesitant to pay almost $100 a day in electricity.

Yeah, I've got a couple of Kill-a-Watt meters on the Dells and it isn't looking good.  I'm thinking that I'll have to power down shortly.
