Writing up a draft auction right now, will post it tomorrow to make sure I cross my Ts and dot my Is and everything looks good. It'll run for at least two weeks

wonderful, two weeks is plenty of time for people to get their coin together.

Hello again everyone, way more interest than I expected! Good news I suppose.

I double checked the depths of my storage and I actually have 14 total coins, all redeemed. I am working on photos (watermarking is tedious) and will post them shortly, then start an auction.

What is the preferred method for that? Should I start it up in this thread or make a new one?

And here are the images - feel free to ask for specific ones I suppose. They're all about the same (at worst, a fingerprint from the peeling), they've been kept in those coin cases since I first bought them, in climate controlled storage. It's surprisingly hard to get good pictures of them with just my iphone and scanner.

This is a lot of gilt cas 1s, most I have ever seen.

I am very interested to see a lot 1 - 14 auction, this would be one of the largest auctions of this year IMO.

When are you thinking of listing the auction so bidders can prepare in advance.

I will auction them all, with the 14 highest bids winning. Highest bid gets their first pick of the coins, then next highest, and so on.

Maybe split it up into 2x auctions

I'm sympathetic to the idea that my plan is complicated, but I don't see that two auctions is that much better than one, personally.

Or I could just put up auctions for all 14 separately, but that would spam the forum badly.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Nice looking coins indeed....will be following these beauties and perhaps joining depending on how high the prices go!

Have not seen this many silver/Gilt coins together on this foum ever!

Goodluck with your auction and may the best bidders win!

Sounds like perhaps I will host an auction, didn't realize there'd be this much demand

I bought these way back when. Didn't want to deal with risks involved in selling them unredeemed, so redeemed them myself. I'll get pics up and host an auction I suppose, sometime this weekend, unless someone wants to make an offer on the whole set

Happy to help out with anything needed...auction, escrow, shipping/reshipping Cheesy

Very cool that you still have these. Is there a story behind them that you’d like to tell? For example, were you the one who redeemed these? If so, did you redeem them recently or was it a long time ago? Do you have anything about the experience of owning or peeling them that you would like to share with other owners?

I'm not sure the going price of these guys but they're all in near mint condition - some with light smudging from the redeeming process, and of course the stickers are all peeled up so there is damage to the anti tamper stuff.

Will post pics on request, I'm not sure what the going rate for these is, anyone care to make an offer or help me out? I couldn't find any redeemed gilt coins being sold here or ebay which I thought was strange
