Seems like you're the one that is having trouble understanding how to appraise/value a GPU. Nobody said cut 50% at random, yet you keep repeating this strawman argument as if it has genuinely been presented. I'm well aware they are 1070ti, so I have no clue why you're attempting to belittle me based on that. I fully understand how buy, sell, value, appraise and predict GPUs, their prices and the market. You think "taking off VAT" is a fair price, but there are plenty of people selling the same exact card for a far lower price. Nobody is going to buy your used card, simply because you've convinced yourself "it's basically new, so I deserve new price minus VAT, I'm actually doing them a favor."

You're delusional, and are making claims that I am ignorant when you have showcased your misunderstandings explicitly.

Please answer gt_addict, then tell me again how you're the one that understands the market; trying to sell cards at above market value for months, without realizing you could've sold them for more than you're asking for now.
Educate me on how to lose money more, it is quite entertaining.

This is a big part of your problem.

if you live in a place where you can find them brand new at $340 , good for you, but here it's different

used for 2-3 months only, they are basically new, i don't see any reason to sell at 200 honestly

You clearly don't understand what "new" means.

I got a 1080TI for about 460 euro, months ago, so buying your 1070 mini would be the most boneheaded decision someone could make, in my opinion.

First of all, Amazon doesn't offer a competitive retail rate, it is random people trying to make as much profit as possible. Secondly, prices aren't much different outside of the conversion rate. That's why gt_addict and I were able to come to an agreement for a card that we were both happy about.

Stop referencing New prices, when your cards are not new; you used them for months and have been trying to sell them for a month without bites; This is not new. If you don't see a reason to sell them at the current market-value, then hold onto them for a little longer and see how that works out for you. You don't get to decide what your GPU is worth, based on what you feel it should be valued at. I don't understand why you're still trying to justify the price-point when you've already made it clear that you want to sell these cards to desperate gamers (that don't exist). We're not paying you a exuberant rate for low-end cards that you have been stuck with for weeks and have already lost 50% of their value since you've listed them.

You never even mention the warranty status or availability, which is a huge part of paying for a new product.

Please just cut your losses and make the sale.

new bought on a retail shop, mine are used of course but like i said i only cut vat from original value

also mine are 170ti not 1070...

you don't understand how you set a value for a used card, you don't cut 50% at random, what i said is that i only cut vat from original value, so if a card is 460 euro new

would mean that my used gpu will have a value of 460 euro minus vat, which is not 250 euro like you think, for example if you have a gpu that you bought for 460 you sell them at 340, which is a fair price, not 200 or 250 this what i mean... if you can't udnerstand it's your problem

and also no... i used them for 2-3 months only, i have the invoice that can prove this, i bought them 20 on febraury, so don't talk out of your ass please

Very well said.  ....and trying to get crypto for components in a bear market isn't the smartest thing to do either as people are holding on tight.  Just my 2 satoshis.

Then it sounds like you've made up your mind. Go for the gamers, and if you really want to then convert the cash into BTC. Nothing wrong with an extra step, and you'd only lose like $2 on the conversion, so that's not bad. I'm almost positive GT was willing to pay 340, prior to all of these seller games you've been playing. Seriously though, if you can still get a good deal from gamers then take it, don't complain about how someone, somewhere might be willing to pay more because you saw an extortionist price on Amazon or Ebay. You're wasting your own time and money by holding onto them and turning down offers that you would later be ecstatic to receive.

Looks like the most they're going for is $340, and dropping quickly; This is more like 290 Euro, so I'm not sure why gamers would overpay you when they can just buy off Ebay with a buyer's guarantee.

price are different in europe, maybe in america they cost less brand new, but here they cost 460 on amazon, or anywhere you want, there is no 340 euro/dollar for a zotac mini 1070 ti

if you live in a place where you can find them brand new at $340 , good for you, but here it's different

....just checked on newegg which is the standard the facto for shopping in the USA and they are sold at $450, dunno where you see $340 for a NEW gpu...

also when i sell something i just remove vat from original price, i don't cut the price in half for no reason, my gpu where bought 4 months ago and used for 2-3 months only, they are basically new, i don't see any reason to sell at 200 honestly

Well said bill.

Amph, good luck in your sales. If you can make more money from gamers then go for it. Never going to be offended from someone trying to make a few extra bucks. If you dont end up selling to gamers then i will be keeping an eye on the thread incase you drop the price again  Wink

If I were you then I would certainly take the 340 to wherever you are finding these desperate gamers. I haven't seen any in quite some time. They will certainly be your best offer, you already could've got 340 from gt_addict, but you didn't take that or the gamers offers then. Don't know why you're letting them depreciate in your hands like this.

they are  still sold at 460 euro new, so i don't see any reason to sell to 200, that's stupid, 300 was the best offer i think, 340 to gamers is a fair price

like i said i prefer bitcoin as a payment, this was the sole reason to sell them here, he was ok for 300, but at that time i was asking for 330, but the lack of interest forced me to lower to 300, below that is a no no for me sorry

well if no one is interested in this offer of 300 euro, i'm afraid i'm forced to sell to gamers, i can sell to 340 to them easily

i tried to lower even more because i prefer to have bitcoin as a payment, but miners reduce too much the value, nothing against you two, just saying

Thanks for the praise Bill. Im afraid I wont be sticking to my original offer as (you quite rightly said) gpu prices are heading downward and new hardware will be hitting stores sometime this year probably. So IF i were to make an offer it would be more the 200eur mark now.

Can we assume that gt_addict is no longer interested in purchasing your cards then? They made an offer of 300, and even 330 I thought? I've worked with gt_addict in the past and they are an extremely reasonable person. Probably would've been doing yourself a favor to have just taken them up on their original offer. GPU prices are heading downward now that there isn't as much of a bottleneck, plus NVIDIA should be getting this new series going any time now.

I was going to make an offer below 300, but if gt is no longer interested then it makes me even hesitant to make an offer near 250.

330 was the last fair price for me, 300... don't meet my expectation at all, you can recover the 200 euro difference(6x30) in two months of mining, i don't think this will destroy your roi time

The trouble is im battling stupid electricity prices (£0.17/kwh) so roi time is super long if the cards arent as cheap as possible. But fair play to you, i appreciate the responses and you dropping your price. The offer stands if you change your mind, if not then good luck with the sales  Grin.

that was my problem too, i'm selling because there is no real profit, with 0.20 euro in electricity

Thats for getting back to me. Had a look at some numbers last night and even at that price I cant make it work with the current market prices. Its a fair bit of btc to lose when the price is so low. If you dont manage to sell them my final offer would stand at €300each including shipping. Hope you can understand and I appreciate your time. Thanks.

i'm selling the aorus at 370 to gamers, it doesn't make sense to sell at 300 to miners, but i like to receive bitcoin instead of cash

the aorus are not available probably anymore

If you can do 300eur each for the 6 zotacs we may have a deal (i’ll pay escrow fees). Let me know  Smiley

too low sorry

Would you meet in the middle?

mmh, if there is really no interest i could do 330 but the shipping will not be included

Well then this begs the question; how much is the shipping to the UK?  Wink

seems to be 30 euro for a 12 kg package, i don't know yet the correct measures for the package, but should be around that or lower than 30 euro

they are still sold for 500 euro or 427 gbp on amazon, i don't think they are worth less than let's say 380 euro anyway
