So what I am hearing is there needs to be flagging of post. How can we get that done? If the mods want less work they should let the community police the forum. I know the forum has plenty of funds that should be easy to get. Shit you should be rewarded for rutting out scammers.

I dont understand why he doesn't have scammer tags yet? If someone is confirmed scammer they should be tagged!

1) A mod, if they have the power, or an admin would have to look into it just to be sure this isn't a case of "crying wolf" Not that I am implying it is in this case but could you imagine if they didn't how many "scammers" would exist because Mt. GOX avg changed?
2) The tag would need to be added by the aforementioned to the account. The mods and admins here are great but they are not super heroes, they do need to sleep/eat/work/do that "go outside thing *shudder*

Ya that sucks they are not going to refund you. That is a misconception around here, it is not easy to charge back paypal.
it depends on the transaction and how you protect yourself.  If you send via gift, it is harder, for sure.  If you have a paper trail, and keep records of people and what they say, then it is very difficult for Paypal not to side with you, unless it is a type of transaction they don't cover (typically services, gifts).

Reverse the transaction through PayPal
I'm going to talk to them about it.  It was a gift payment, which is not protected, but I'll see what I can do.

SCAMMER ALERT: BTC4PPGBP

User BTC4PPGBP is a scammer.  After agreeing to a fair price yesterday for 1 BTC, user BTC4PPGBP failed to deliver the said BTC after I made a payment.  This was a test transaction, to verify this user.  FAIL

The original deal was 4.5 BTC for 88 GBP.  Because BTC4PPGBP refused to go first, we made a deal to test things out with 1 BTC for 19.56 GBP.

Here's where he instructs me to send to his account:

Here's where I sent as instructed:

After waiting several hours and sending him messages, I got this:

BTC4PPGBP has not replied to my messages or emails asking for a refund or BTC to be sent.

DON'T DEAL WITH THIS USER!!!

This would most likely get more responses if you posted the rate at which you wanted to trade, at the moment it just screams scam to me...

It's been some time, furrycoat.

On a more serious note, anyone considering the trade above use escrow please.
I'm fed up with the amount of threads in the accusations subforums, and will just laugh at such tagging requests now.
