Engraved a few more wallet sets today and thought I would update on the inventory numbers since I had the information available...

There are a total of 49 NastyMining silver wallet sets remaining for sale.  These are some of the nicest coins I've made to date, particularly the colorized version, so if you are a fan and haven't added them to your collection yet, take a look.  They're priced at a pretty nice bargain for what you get in my opinion...

I wanted to give my review for the Nasty coins, I was really surprised by the quality and how incredible they look, I had the opportunity to acquire a gold one, but none of Silver until now, still a good price compared to other coins I think every collector should have...

Agreed. I have a set for myself and have resold 5 sets over the past couple years. Everyone has loved these coins.

They are definitely some of my best work as far as materials and processes go.  They were sort of the culmination of everything I'd learned about coin making up to that point.  A bit of a shame they weren't more well received.  I had toyed with the idea of doing a 5oz .9999 silver coin someday with gold highlighting and colorization, but I'm not sure that's what the people want.  Maybe someday when all my other coins have sold out.  Until then, I'm wondering if it is the requirement of buying a set that has been holding people back.  Maybe I'll auction a set off individually and see how people feel about them.  Would love to get these into more people's hands.

Just a reminder that these are still for sale. The only colorized coins I ever made combined with being .9999 silver makes them extremely unique. Sure, having someone else create your private keys is never a great idea, which is why these are unfunded and never have to be loaded. More of a collector’s item, but completely functional if needed.

Thanks for the kind words.  These coins were hands down the most expensive silver coins to produce that I ever made ounce for ounce and they're selling for the least amount of any engraved coin I've ever done.  I think the .9999 silver and colorization are a bit underappreciated.  Anyway, I'm glad you are happy with the product you received.  My only question is, what happened to the  t-shirt?  Not good enough for the picture?  LOL.  Seriously though, thanks for the purchase thiago007.  I always appreciate your support.

I recently posted inventory numbers for NastyFans minted seats but I didn’t say anything about the NastyMining silver wallets.

There are currently 53 sets of wallets remaining. They are still available for sale and are engraved upon ordering (so give a few extra days after an order). If you do desire, go ahead and place an order for yours at https://NastyFans.org/mint

Update: 52 sets remaining as of now.

^ Thanks for the kind words. I’ll even toss in a free t-shirt for the next person that orders a setfrom https://NastyFans.org/mint - Just add your shirt size in with your shipping address and I’ll figure it out. If I have enough shirts and the right sizes available, maybe I’ll toss free shirts to the next few NastyShop orders.  Wink

I received some good feedback about these coin sets and the buyer was a bit surprised that these were still available so cheap.  I'll admit that promotion and advertising has never been my strong suit, but if you haven't checked this set out, it might be worth your time.  I don't think many people would be able to produce 1oz 0.9999 silver coins along with colorized and gold highlighted variants, all engraved with vanity addresses and secured with tamper proof holograms for anywhere near the price point of this set.  At $165 for the 3-coin set, I think that this is probably one of the biggest steals available for physical crypto coins at the moment...

Available for purchase in the NastyShop

I bought a set from you and am very pleased!  I agree, considering the coins are silver, it's a great deal!

The quality of the wallets is 10 out of 10 and as a member above mentioned, it is nice for new collectors to know they can still get an original coin in the Encyclopedia that is still available with the creator in the 1 oz seat coin (also incredibly well made).

Thanks for the kind words.  I love hearing from customers how much they love these coins (as well as the others I've made that are available at https://nastyfans.org/mint for purchase).  Much appreciated.

I would also say that it is no surprise they're doing extremely well in secondary markets, as if you priced out how much someone would charge you to make you a custom .9999 silver coin with colored epoxy design, engraved vanity address, and custom tamper proof hologram, you might find that these are underpriced by about 90%.  Smiley  If you don't own one of these sets and you collect silver, you are missing out on a hell of a deal.

Well, I was a silver collector before getting into BTC, so now I feel obligated.. lol

Ordering today!

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks for your order!  I shipped out 15 of these coins last week and love that people are finding they are more valuable on secondary markets.  The secret appears to be out, at least to a few folks who are taking advantage.  Smiley  I love to see it.  Now let's see some more pics of all these coins with their new owners!

Well, the good thing is you have these priced in BTC, guaranteeing the FIAT value will go up!

While the price is displayed in BTC and the purchase is made using bitcoins, it is somewhat important for buyers to know that the actual cost is set in dollars.  This results in the dollar price being static while the BTC price is dynamic.  So while it may look as though prices are changing on a daily basis, that's just Bitcoin's volatility and these coins are extremely close to the same price they were originally sold for.

WOW.. an original 2013 coin from the encyclopedia still for sale? People are selling these on ebay for $800. How many are left out of the 500? Buying Nasty pays better than S&P 500, lol.

Thanks for the kind words.  I've heard of many of my coins being sold on eBay lately and that's totally fine.  If people want to purchase from the NastyShop using BTC to sell on eBay for a profit in USD, I have no problem with that.  I like seeing my coins in different retailers.  I was wondering why suddenly I've sold 18 of these silver wallets in the last few days.  I guess the word is out.  Smiley

It does sound from the price and description that you're talking about sales of the Minted Seats though and that thread is here (I only had 3 of those sales this week, but of the original 500 produced only a double digit amount remain): https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-1oz-999-silver-nastyfans-minted-seats-352515

As secondary market sales are already heating up for these coins, I can't wait to see what happens once they all finally sell out.

Thanks for posting pictures and for the kind words.  I also appreciate you ordering more of them.  The sale of any goods in the NastyShop raises donations for NastyFans that help everyone receive some Bitcoin for being members of the club, so thank you for your donations.  Smiley

While these are some of the most unique and costly coins I've made due to the .9999 silver used and colorization, they aren't tied to actual NastyFans seats (hence the "wallets" name) so they are less popular than their Minted Seats counterparts, but they're still in my opinion some of the best physical Bitcoin wallets you can find.  Smiley  Enjoy!

Awesome!  Thanks!  I hope you enjoy it.  I'll be sitting down tomorrow to engrave all this weeks orders and get them out the door.  You should have it in a few days.

I will point out that you bought a minted seat though, not one of these Silver NastyMining Wallet sets.  Smiley  Still an amazing purchase, just the wrong thread.  Smiley

Here's the Minted Seats thread for the coin you bought, in case you weren't aware of it or wanted to read more about them.  Thanks again!

These silver wallet sets seem to be a popular dip buy this time around.  Smiley  I hope to see some pictures once buyers get them in hand.  Feels like buyers have been a bit shy with their precious gatherings lately.  I might have to start posting pics of engraving/packaging orders to spruce up this thread a bit.

If you're worried about Bitcoin's price dip and want to get your hands on some .9999 silver, it would be hard to find a better deal for generated addresses engraved onto precious metal.  Similar items around here sell for quite a bit more (~4x as much) and don't include things like colorization and .9999 silver.  These deals can't last forever...

I shipped out several sets of these bad boys over the last few months and haven't seen many pictures of these babies in all their glory.  I always love hearing feedback and seeing buyers post images of their coins.  No better way to get these coins into the hands of more prospective owners than to hear the feedback of those who have already received them.  If you don't own any .9999 silver coins, coins engraved with private keys, or enameled coins, this is a great set to add to your collection.

thanks, i will look for an european reseller then. i am looking for shipping FROM europe to avoid the customs headache..

Good luck.  I've shipped a few sets across the pond so I know they exist over there.  I'm sure there are probably people there who offer reshipping services.  I don't know of any, but they must exist.  I allow people to ship goods to me that I reship to them so it can't be that uncommon.  You'll just need to look around and find someone you trust, or maybe find someone in Europe with a set that they're looking to sell.  Just be safe and use escrow where appropriate.

any way these could be shipped from europe? i'd pm you but i have the annoying 2pm/day limit.....

I'm not in Europe and have no plans to travel there anytime soon, so I would be unable to ship them FROM Europe.  I could ship TO Europe, as I've shipped coins to more than 50 countries in my career at bitcointalk.  If you want to have it shipped FROM Europe though, you will likely need to find someone in Europe that owns them or is willing to place an order and reship for you.  If you want them shipped TO Europe, just order them like normal and select to add international shipping when filling your cart at https://nastyfans.org/mint otherwise you'll have to find a middleman to help you.

.9999 Fine Silver!  The extra 9 shows these coins are minted with the highest purity metal possible.

too bad you covered it up with coloring, it may as well be .0009 silver Smiley

Enamel can be removed from silver fairly easily if all you care about is the silver value.  I would say the artistry of the coin and the effort that went into it's creation, address generation, and engraving are more valuable than the metal used, but to each their own.  Soaking the coins in acetone will remove the enamel and leave only the silver if that is a real concern, but I can't imagine it would add value like you say.  More likely it would destroy the collector's value of the item and make it just an ounce of silver, which if you are buying this coin for the ounce of silver there are surely cheaper alternatives that don't require a do it yourself chemical process.

A few years back...OG made a custom made silver coin for me. I peeled the coin a few weeks ago and gotta say, this was the first time I had private keys engraved in the coin itself. Pretty cool feature not having to worry about any flood or fire destroying the keys!  Wink

You peeled it!?!  Shocked

Maybe you should run it over with your car a couple of times and toss it into a campfire overnight to test the durability.  Cheesy

I like to say that engraving is better than other methods of storage, but I haven't honestly ever tested it.  It's all just theoretical at this point.

I am sure it would past the test...but I do not want to tarnish the coin as it is still a collectable to me  Wink

Totally understandable. I was 1/2 kidding. Although I am surprised we haven’t seen any attempts to destroy my coin creations in the past, or maybe there have been attempts but the engravings held up so well that publicizing the act would have the effect of enticing buyers to make purchases. That’s what I’ll go with until proven otherwise anyway.

Awesome pictures. Thank you for posting them. I’ve got another batch of orders going out tomorrow. Glad to see these coins getting snapped up lately. It takes a great deal of effort to generate so many consecutive public addresses and engrave them in such a small area. I’m glad to be able to do it and on such a pretty and valuable medium.

Thank you as well! I think the effort it takes to create something unique from scratch is often underappreciated. I love the fact that the addresses are engraved. That should allow them to be a safe store of bitcoin for decades to come with no degradation.

Indeed. It is an extra bit of effort that I think is well worth it given the added peace of mind of not having to worry about a paper key getting destroyed and taking your valuable Bitcoin stash along with it.

I’ve never done any testing really to see what the engravings can endure. Maybe a little gimmick video showing them being run over by cars and set on fire would be comical and informative.

The only colorized coins I’ve ever done and I still love looking at them whenever I have them out to engrave.

I really do appreciate when people order these even though the colorized version takes some extra steps to engrave in order to protect the coloring.  It's worth it to get to appreciate the beauty of these colorized rounds while I'm doing so.  Between the colorization, vanity address generation, .9999 silver, & engraving, these coins would be difficult for anyone to create at this price point.  Don't sleep on them!

These coins are gorgeous and the pictures don't do them justice. They really need to be seen in person. My favorite is the colorized round. I didn't expect to like that one as much as I do. I'll try to do my best here (1oz minted seat at center for reference).

Please send me a PM for the colorized auction.   I would love to hoard a few extra of these.

Will do.  I'll post it in the Slack chat also.

If I am reading that right, that means that you made individual 8 character vanity addresses? Would you answer how long it took to find one of those with your equipment? Cause I think with my crappy 950 it would take me a month just to find one. Looking at the nastymining website and the nastymining thread, (cause I tried to answer this myself without asking) the mining equipment is Radeon RX Vega VII x2 I feel like you had to use way more GPUs than that

1NastyCW1 would be an example of an address, so it is technically 9 characters.  I've used different hardware over the years to generate the vanity addresses I've found for these coins (and others), but it's safe to say I've had multiple GPUs searching for addresses for 6 years straight now.  You are correct that I don't use NastyMining GPUs for this, as they are busy mining for NastyFans.  For example, right now I have 3x 1080ti and 1x 2070 personally owned GPUs searching for vanities at a rate of 3,500Mkey/s.

100% Deposit Match UP TO €5000!
They look good, are they numbered individually? On the website is mentioned "Limited 300 Coin Production Batch'' Does this mean 100 coins of each color in total?

Thank you.  The below quote discusses the "numbering" method which is similar to how minted seats are numbered.  Yes, there are only 100 of each coin for a current total of 300.

Sequential Vanity Bitcoin Addresses!  Know exactly what coin number you hold by the public address.  Each coin begins with 1NastyX with 'X' determining the coin type (S=all silver, G=gold highlighted, C=colorized) and is sequentially numbered with the following two characters.

Engraving more of these beauties.  I forgot how gorgeous the enameled .9999 silver is...  I've never offered them outside of the complete set because I liked the idea of people having matching vanity sets, but I'd like to see more of these in the hands of collectors.  I'll plan to do an auction soon for an individual colorized wallet, or they are still available in matching sets at https://nastyfans.org/mint if you want to get your hands on all three.

got my NastyMining wallets today and they are freakin' awesome. Such vibrant color and precision on the colored one.

check the Gold highlighted one, it has a red dot in the right solarpanel > ERROR Coin > One of Kind > collectorvalue to the moon !  Grin

made a small video trying to capture the amazing colors of the coin: https://vimeo.com/241374318

Great pictures and video!  My apologies about the red dot.  That is leftover masking material from the company that does the gold highlighting.  It must have slipped through their (and my) quality control process.  It is basically a fancy red tape, and could be easily removed if desired.

I have notified naypalm that the lists of wallets on the analyzer are not populating, and I am aware that new wallets aren't yet being added to the .json feed.  I assume nonnakip/naypalm are still working out the bugs from this addition as I sprung it on them sort of last minute, and the issues will get resolved.  It is nothing to be concerned about.

If I have a minted seat and would like to buy more seats, will those seats be added to my minted seat address?

Not automatically, but you can list whatever you want as the distribution address for your online seats, including the Minted Seat coin's address.

Will I still be required to log into the website every so often If I own a minted seat and buy seats that are not minted?

Not logging in wouldn't effect your Minted Seat, but after a period of time your distributions for online seats would be held.  This is to avoid NastyFans sending BTC into a black hole forever in the event you were to cave to your mortality or a similar event.

Am I blind or is the price missing from OP? I'm very interested in this, could you please update with price or provide a purchase link.

My apologies for not being clear.  They are available in the NastyShop and you can click the logo to visit, as it is an active link.  Alternatively, you can click https://nastyfans.org/mint or enter it in your browser to view current pricing in the shop.

Love the coins OG! Especially the way the sun rays coming out for the solar panels! Will send you a PM.

Thanks.  I don't deserve the credit for the design, as I have an artist I pay who does them.  I am equally pleased with the outcome though.  Smiley

I really hate to say this but I do like the colourised round.

Really is a shame it has nasty on it. Pretty sure if anyone else came out with something similar it would sell out quickly..

Oh hey they did. Max and his so called over priced kialara'

Shame you can't come up with anything original yourself.. especially as the O in OG stands for original..

Sinking ship stealing ideas

You think Kialara was the first to offer an enameled coin?  How cute.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptonic-physical-monero-984034

If it's originality you want, perhaps you should focus on the .9999 silver in these gorgeous rounds.

Did the mint paint these for you or did you do it yourself?

The colorized version is professionally hand enameled with 4 colors.  The process is a bit more complicated than just painting, and involves several steps at controlled temperatures.  If you haven't ever seen enameling on a coin, it comes out very colorful and maintains a shiny reflective look that compliments the .9999 silver very well.

These look awesome as a set! I just updated the nastyfans analyzer to scan for future silver wallets.

Thanks naypalm!

I should mention that these 3-coin sets all have matching vanity addresses.

Do you mean the 3 adresses have the same prefix?

Yes, and no.  Here's an example.  I purchased the first set for myself.  The prefixes for the coins are:
1NastySW1...
1NastyCW1...
1NastyGW1...

The next set would be:
1NastySW2...
1NastyCW2...
1NastyGW2...

The prefixes represent S=All Silver, C=Colored, G=Gold Highlighted and are then followed by the numbering characters.  They cycle through characters in this order W1-W9,WA-WZ,Wa-Wz,w1-w9,wA-wZ,wa-wi.

Very nice job Og, order placed.    There havent been many colorized cryptocoins made and I really like how that one came out.

Also, the 0.9999 is a really nice touch.

Thanks.  My first .9999 silver and first colorized round.  I should mention that these 3-coin sets all have matching vanity addresses.  Once buyers have had a sufficient opportunity to get matching vanity sets and if there are still any remaining for sale, I will ask nonnakip to remove the 3-coin sets from the shop and add them as individual coins.  This will make them more affordable for someone who might only want 1 coin, but it will mean no more matching sets will be available after that point.

These coins are similar to physical bitcoins you see from Casascius and others with the exception that they are sold unloaded.  I'll highlight a few of the other major differences.

Securely Stores Bitcoin!  Vanity addresses are generated with security in mind and then deleted once engraved to ensure that the coin owner is the only individual with access to the address.

.9999 Fine Silver!  The extra 9 shows these coins are minted with the highest purity metal possible.

Official NastyFans Supported Product!  The second coin series to be officially supported by NastyFans, following the NastyFans Minted Seat series.  This means information will be made available on the mint.json feed (https://nastyfans.org/mint.json) and coins can be added to your online account.

Currently available in 3 Different Versions!  NastyMining Wallets are currently minted in solid silver, w/ 24kt gold highlighting, & hand painted colorized versions.  Each type follows the same numbering sequence, so that matching sets can be assembled.

39mm Diameter!  These coins are minted in a standard 39mm diameter which allows them to be easily stored or displayed using off the shelf products.

No More Printed Keys!  These keys are engraved, and forever attached to the coin.

No More Firstbits!  Your entire public key is engraved on the coin, eliminating any uncertainty that may exist about your coin's public address.

Tamper-Evident Security Hologram!  A custom made Nasty-themed tamper-evident security hologram displays obvious signs of removal when the private key beneath is exposed.  This gives potential buyers of the coins confidence that the address continues to be secure.

Limited Production Batch!  Only 100 coins of each type produced.

Sealed in Plastic Airtite Capsule!  These coins are handled with cotton gloves and never touch human hands before being placed in airtite capsules.  This ensures that your coins will stay in pristine condition for many years to come.

NastyFans Fundraiser!  With $50 per matching set being donated, this is a giant fundraiser for all NastyFans.  You know your funds are going back to the Bitcoin community and helping to support a great organization that is dedicated to doing good for Bitcoin.  It is my hope that these coins will provide happiness to existing fans, while at the same time exposing NastyMining to a new group of potential members.

Coin Analyzer!  This coin analyzer (https://analyzer.nastyfans.org/) is developed and maintained by naypalm and allows fans to easily see more information about their coins including loaded amount, creation date, etc.
