If so, I will take 1 kit to heat my place!  Grin

Actually these are perfect for that. They are super quiet and somewhat efficient @ ~0.50-0.55 watt/GH. PM me your postal code cause we'll have to ship it as all of them are in Labrador.

PM send  Wink

Bitcoin FTW!
Could you pm me shipping costs for a controller to 16415? I'm looking to buy just a controller seperately (shipping gets pretty expensive with these sadly), but I can get a full set if needed. There's plenty of cubes for sale everywhere, but controllers seem scarce in supply.

Never had this miner. Just to be sure, it's 5 cubes for 1 controller ?
And it's 55 cad per cube?
So a complete kit is 275$ cad.
The 5 cubes take 1300 watt?

Im looing for a heating miner for the winter  Grin

$55 CAD per RIG (ie 5 cubes). The 5 cubes take _2_ 1300 watt PSUs or 3 850 Watt. PSUs not included in the price. PSUs are $90 CAD each. We have server PSUs for $55 CAD but they are noisy.

I think its $55 for 5 cubes with controller.

PRobably not going to include the EVGA 1300 PSUs with the $55 however.

These miners are like the S5 except quieter.

if bought would you be willing to host them ? even though shipping here ,(100 km from montreal) would be cheap

Sure we would gladly host them if you want. We can also drive them to your location if you decide that running them yourself is better.

We have a total of 60. At first we wanted to sell 20 just to see if there is any demand, but we may as well sell all of them.

The thing about hosting them is if you have cheaper total costs than what we charge it will definitely be better to run them yourself. If you have 0 capital costs to amortize (unlike us) then you're very lucky.

Hosting price is $65/Kw/month on a 3 month pre-paid term. You do your math and figure out what is best for you and get back to me.

Cheers!

Allright I like that price, how much would shipping to France zip 35000 be?

I realize it might kill it but it's worth a try Smiley

I'll try to get a quote for you soon. We don't have original boxes for these so we'll have to make some. If you can find somewhere online the dimensions and weight of the original KNC shipment let me know.

I had one shipped in a big cardboard box of a stereo system, it was aprox 50*90*30 (CM) for a weight of 26kg. No idea for the original boxn I only get second hand stuff Smiley

Bump. We are willing to let these go for $200 US per rig not including shipping. Local pickup in Montreal is preferred but I realize that is not always possible for most of you. Shipping should be reasonable though given these rigs are not super heavy. Canadian customers or local to the East Coast take precedence over any other region.

Why don't you sell the PSU seperately from the miners. Many people on here would buy those EVGA 1300W PSUs. $100 per PSU is like $12,000 right there, already 50% higher then your highest offer.

Well its a lot of hassle selling everything separately. Sure i'd buy 2, i'd offer 180$ shipped. But then doing that for 120 PSU's is going to be a full time job for a while.

Oh yeah for sure. We do have other priorities to be honest, but I dunno it just may end up that we'll have to do that. It will take a long time to liquidate all the hardware that way that's for sure.

I would host with GND down the road with you guys on the 50/50 offer. I'll extend the offer to four months. That would be (depending on price and difficulty) over 10K - I doubt anyone will beat that.

Well that would be convenient either way as the gear is already in Labrador so no shipping costs for you. So $10K USD for everything including PSUs is your offer, correct? If so I'll pass that on.

Sorry - my offer is half of mined revenue over 4 months, which I estimate will be over 10K. GND will ask as escrow. Yes, I'll arrange pick up/shipping.

20K is rediculous. I offered 2k and got mocked. Seeing as no one has offered anything different, why not ask this guy what he wants? If it's 20k were all wasting our time.

I'd also split revenue with him for three months on these, I pay power costs.

I just told everyone what he wants, 23K for everything.

These non traditional split revenue, let me host it for you in my leaky shed type of arrangements are difficult as it's difficult to find someone you fully trust. If you have some brilliant plan you can always PM me your contact info and I can pass it on to the seller, but mocking offers will get you ignored.

Let's put it this way guys, if 2K was an acceptable offer I would've bought this gear myself as it's already running in our shop.

If it wasn't for Ethereum I think you would get some sales. I know I would of probably picked some up. That PSU is worth at least $100+.

But nobody wants to gamble with ASICs anymore when they can buy GPUs which currently are more efficient than any ASIC out there and make more money.

Maybe in 3 months...6 months that will change.

Maybe tomorrow, too.

Right now BTC difficulty went wayyyy up, and GPU profitability went wayyyy up. If things worked out differently, filling my apartment with these would probably be what i'd want to do, but there's no way i could pick up a 20k deal in the near future.

Then again in that scenario, these would probably not be for sale for so cheap either.

Got word from the seller that he is willing to take $23K for the whole lot including the 120 PSUs. PSUs alone can be easily sold for more than $50+ on ebay etc.

I'd take a couples of 1300 G2's if they were 50$+ish each.

Somehow seeing how you're having so much trouble selling the S5's, this might be a hard sell as well.

I don't think the seller is ready to part with the PSUs individually yet. The idea is to move this whole mountain of gear all at once.

Yeah you are right it is a total buyer market out there and the buyers aren't buying cause the reward halving and high diff is causing them to run scared. We shall see how this game plays out.

Yeah i understand, which is why i said "If they were", its a nice lot. The PSU's are great and i don't know how much in bulk they would "devalue" but at half their retail price you're still looking at a value over 10k. Then 13k for 180TH/s is an awesome price.

I'd need a lot of free electricity apartments to power these all in lol.

Better find all the free electricity apartments you can ! Smiley The one advantage with these is they are super quiet.

$150 Cad wasn't really that good of a deal. Its at least still over 3 months ROI, and then its the halving and will probably only make like $20/month with free power.

Its actually the most that I have ever paid for a Bitcoin miner.

Well thats 2.5months ROI on free electricity. Compared to GPUs right now its not really good but still. On free electricity this is not a bad deal at all if you are on free electricity. If you pay, then not sure.

Yes but what changes this time is the halving. Right now an S3 makes more money then a S5 will after the halving with free power, and right now people are pretty much giving S3's away and nobody is buying them. Which means that an S5 won't have much value after the halving.

So if you buy  today for around $150, it will take 3-4 months to pay off. After its paid off, it might be worth like $50 and that will be your profit. Doesn't sound like much does it. An A6 or S7 which has a slightly longer ROI period will make more per month and will hold a fairly large value as compared to an S5.

Its for the same reason why you couldn't sell those tube miners because they hold very little value because they consume more energy then they make BTC. But your A6/S7 will probably sell very well in the next 6 months or so.

Well in my math, It will ROI before halving. And then we have no idea what anything will be worth, but i get what you mean. Still selling S5 for 100$ let say 90$/TH/s sound insane imo. And this apply to these miners as well.

So no offers guys, just shop talk  Tongue?

Yep, personally i'd only be interested in some of the PSU's, if i dont get a good deal with Prelude's remaining ATX stock. I can totally take my talk somewhere else if you dont want the free bumps. Smiley

But i'm surprised you dont keep them yourself with your tasty data center. Unless you're at capacity? *shrug* Otherwise i assume they're already in your possession, plugged and profitable.

lol no worries, I don't mind the free bumps, continue to talk shop Smiley

Well, I would buy them myself if we did not have other costs on top of electricity. With low electricity costs these will still be profitable for much longer.

The free electricity folks or those with their own already paid off shop is what this gear is ideally suited for.

How many of these does he have exactly? Is it 60 cubes or 60 Neptunes so (60X5= 300 cubes) ? Seems like he is a millionaire.

Im in Western Canada, so I don't think I can do local pickup.

60 complete neptune rigs..300 cubes..lol it's a shit ton, but these days it's not a lot of money really...

I really like these Neptunes because compared to an S5, its at least quiet. But right now $150USD for 1THs is a little too high, especially with the shipping also. Maybe if it doesn't sell in a month or two and he lowers the price, I might pick it up then.

$150 Cad wasn't really that good of a deal. Its at least still over 3 months ROI, and then its the halving and will probably only make like $20/month with free power.

Its actually the most that I have ever paid for a Bitcoin miner.

$180 per TH is really good and I'm sure the seller would jump on that deal in a second. If you buy in bulk I'm sure he can give you a discount too, so I dunno maybe $150 would be a good deal. So $450 per complete Neptune. PSUs I know he is asking $100 US each. He may be able to come down on the cost of that given the fact that they're used and have been mined on for many months.

You really should ask your client what ballpark figure he wants to get for these. If he is fair and not charging the same price as a new S7 then I might throw an offer.

But right now I don't want to send any offers if he will find them insulting but I recently locally picked up a S5 for only $150 CAD. So these 0.5W/GHS miners are clearly not worth what they used to be.

Don't worry about insulting anyone, just throw and offer out there and I'll pass it on. The worse that can happen is he'll say no.

$150 for an S5?! Damn it's a crazy buyers market out there. I guess I have no chance of ever selling my S5s lool.

Thats 110$ USD, definitively too cheap, but i guess the seller didnt know better. Personally i dont see a point in selling mine for less than 180$~ They still earn 50$ a month right now.

ASKING PRICE: $55 CAD

I am looking to sell this on behalf of a client of ours.

20 batch 1 KNC Neptunes in very good condition. They all hash at 3.1 TH stable. These are NOT the crappy compensation units that I personally would not touch with a 10 foot pole. They are each powered by two EVGA 1300w G2 series PSUs. These PSUs are apparently the most suited for these miners.

I am looking to field offers in the following manner:

1) For just 5 cubes and controller (ie 1 "rig" or complete system)
2) For 1 complete miner with PSUs.

Shipping costs are paid by buyer. Pickup is available. We are not sure yet from which location but most likely from either Labrador or Montreal. Moving all this gear to Montreal could be an issue and Labrador is too far way for most people, so likely Montreal or bulk shipping is going to be the best way to do this. A skid full of these miners is going to be around a grand or more in shipping costs. We can likely break down the shipment.
