Sorry man, I doubt anyone is going to pay your asking price of 8 BTC for this coin, which would likely grade in the low 60's when sent to ANACS.
I just picked up the exact same coin off the forum, graded at MS68 (there is just 5 at that grade) for close to $700 less than you are asking.
I fully agree, asking for 8 BTC is just asking for too much. You need to bring your price down since there are better coins than the one you selling for cheaper prices.

Fair enough, the market has been slow. But even on a very slow market, I'd say it's pretty unlikely that the value would get close to the face value+blank price.

Coins made my casasicus are among the first of all physical bitcoins, and he stopped producing them a few years ago due to legal reasons. The reason for the price is a combination of demand, rarity and history.Can anyone please explain to me why a physical coin of 5btc is worth 8-9btc? Thx.
Collectables....they command more than the material value (5btc and the material of the coin). Thank you both for your explanations.

You can easily get 5 BTC blanks for like 0.04BTC
Loaded 5's are worth between 8-9BTC. Blanks don't give a good indication of what they're worth.

Especially the 5s, mike sold them as blanks in rolls i believe so there are a bunch available. Same thing with the brass 1s you can get them for a decent price but the loaded ones arent 1btc plus blank value. Wish they were
