Well, your intentions are a black box, so we need to establish a firm ground for sound business.

The problems with credit cards are as follows:

- With a stolen credit card, you can buy a gift card at Amazon because Amazon does not verify your identity at the time of purchase (you don't provide your ID when purchasing). But if Amazon discovers that the gift card was purchased with a stolen credit card, then the gift card is null and void and the accounts are blocked.

- And it's another story when you are going to buy btc with a credit card (either your own, or stolen) at an exchange. Your bitcoin exchange will VERIFY your identity 100% by looking at your ID and checking that the same identity is on the card.

- This brings us to the most important point:
If you want to buy bitcoins with the Amazon gift cards and get some buyers, then (1) BUY THE GIFT CARD WITH CASH (2) PROVIDE THE CASH RECEIPT TO YOUR BUYER TOGETHER WITH THE CARD (3) BE READY TO GIVE A DISCOUNT OF 15%-20%.

- Amazon Gift e-codes can be bought only from people of the highest rep.

I am describing all this not because I suspect that you are a scammer, absolutely NOT. This is just a common-sense approach worked out at Paxful and Localbitcoins where a lot of buyers were burnt with Amazon gift cards.

But how do you confirm you bought the gift card with YOUR credit card?

How much is your discount? Also, can I confirm your identity and that it's bought with your Amazon account?

It's not a discount, it's a gift.

You buy what you want with it, you just give me the email and you get it delivered directly from amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Amazon-com-eGift-Cards/dp/BT00DC6QU4

This is how it works:

I buy the gift with my credit card.

You (or an escrow) receive the email with the code and I get the bitcoins.

If the buyer is a person with a story of trading on this board I have no problems waiting the recipient to redeem the code and check it is okay and send me the payment later.

I have no intention to do so, nor I see any reason to, especially for such small 50-100$ amounts.

If you're implying I am wasting 4 months of my life posting on this board to scam somebody for 50$ with a stolen credit card you must believe that thieves got dumb and desperate and it also makes no fuckin sense as I could buy bitcoin with the stolen credit card regardless.

I could very well claim to sell you a 500 physical code and make some bs pic of a physical gift card and ask you for 10 times that much.

I am even available to directly ship the item to the user if an escrow is used and the user has a good rep on this board.

I'm not here to waste time anymore and I won't return to this subject again. End of story.

1) then I can buy and deliver the item directly to the recipient and use an escrow to receive the payment when he receives the item. Not a single risk for the buyer.

2) not all exchanges are so strict about identity and most importantly, not a single one checks if the owner of the card is the same as the person registering. I'm absolutely sure about that as I used my fiancees card to buy them on bitpanda literally 3 days ago.

3) can't do, don't live in the US, otherwise would have no problem. I have no problems doing it with Italian users as I can find them easily.

Again, not gonna come back to this topic, you made yourself clear and I can see your point (althought I feel it's totally out of place and overblown in this topic).

You buy it with a stolen credit card and .... BOOM ... your customer loses his BTC and his Amazon account gets banned ...

It isn't safe to buy e-codes since you can't prove they are legit.
They can remove from account and cause account ban easily.

I'm really not following, what's there to prove?

https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Amazon-com-eGift-Cards/dp/BT00DC6QU4

I see your point, but to be honest we're talking about 50$ gift cards.

If I wanted to be dishonest to anybody I'd personally find a better way and I'd do it for more money than mere 50 $.

Or I could claim to be selling 500$ physical codes.

If there's a way to buy phisical gift cards online I have no problems selling those codes instead.

I just want to buy some bitcoins more without going through the hassle and confirmations required by coinbase, their rates and their percentages (also, I tried but I have no 3d secure code on my prepaid card).

It is e-code or physical card?

e-code.

Quote
How you can prove that is legit?

Can't, have still to buy it (I have problems buying BTCs on coinbase or similar services, that's why I prefer selling amazon e-codes).

Do you accept to use escrow?

Didn't know about escrows when I opened this thread.

I have no problems using an escrow with good reputation on bitcointalk.

Any of your choice is okay as long as I can see his history on this forum.

Hello, I'd like to sell a 50$ Amazon.com gift card for 0.014 BTC (non negotiable).

How it works:

-you send me 0.014 BTCs

-then I send you the gift card code to redeem on amazon.com (so north america only).

I won't do it in reverse unless you're a user with a long story of positive feedbacks (since I have never traded anything on this forum I have none).

I may change the price (reduce it or pump it) if BTC's value will change drastically.

Please send me a private message.

edit: Have no problems accepting any recommended escrow on this forum.
