Congrats on the transaction, gentlemen.  Cool

Thanks, got it Grin

I'm satisfied. Feel free to release escrow back to @praine.

Thanks everyone!

SV is currently trading at 0.22 by the way ... was my prophecy correct? Only time will tell  Shocked

Your prophecy will be correct. It's a scamcoin and will drop to abysmal levels when the scammers run out of money to prop it up. I've already sold mine (sadly before it passed .02), and will certainly never buy it back even when it drops below my sell price.

Yes, this prophecy will fulfill. Faketoshi Vision will be dumped to the ground.

yogg: My BCH ABC (BAB) deposit address is : 15svn3gBvxgbaiVeov3zhKjaCuh826j3ig

If you need to deduct a transaction fee, please make it as small as possible (1 sat/byte or less). BCH blocks are wide open.

Praine, I have verified your message successfully.
However I need to ask you for another signed message but with your BCH ABC address inside of the message. This is how I make sure the address comes from you.
There is no other occurrence on the forum of the address you want me to use and I'd rather make sure you are the rightful owner of it.
Thanks for your comprehension.

He was not active for 12+ hours and I quoted his message as a reference of the address but you are right : we can never be too careful.
A confirmation from kopipe is more than appreciated. Smiley

You're right - you did quote it in the first page of this thread. That is effectively staking the address and I wasn't aware that that was done until I read your message just now and went back to check. Nevertheless he should be coming online soon so he can just give a quick confirmation that that's where he wants me to send his funds to. A signed message is no longer necessary.

Speaking of which, can you sign a message about this transaction and your BAB/BCH address with the BTC address 16vnMfvWkTxaziLtcYhBTtoK9b13hrsHG6 ?
I will use the address within the message to send your collateral back to you.

Absolutely. I can sign from that address after I send the funds. The funds will be sent from that address, anyways.

BTC is fully confirmed in my wallet and ready to be distributed. I would like to make sure everything is 100% secure before I go ahead and send the funds because this address:

1P3gUdngpLcswgDW2Xf48ZGtbcDNLantvG

has no transactions in it and is not staked anywhere on this forum. The reason why this makes me feel slightly uncomfortable is because if kopipe's account was compromised, someone could've logged in and silently changed the address kopipe posted while we were sleeping. Though unlikely, it would be a big problem if I sent coins to this address if that happened. Anyways, this is an issue that is easily rectified. kopipe, can you sign a message from 1G91VBCWtaU8oEnaSPhQi6AJ6cY3yp2CJ5 (the address that sent the SV coins to me) or one of the preceding addresses in the blockchain? Hope you are cool with me asking for this. When you are dealing with larger sums you can never be too careful.

BSV fully confirmed and gladly the price didn't decline from where it was when we arranged this deal.  Smiley I sold it all above .023 BTC a piece. Total amount I got from this sale is 1.95170147 BTC. Here are the nitty gritty details of the trade history (I zeroed out my exchange balance before this trade, and all the relevant trades begin above the orange line):

https://imgur.com/a/oUCmtXa

https://imgur.com/a/vXkqLXp

I'm very happy with my trades here and the average I got. Hopefully you are as well. Withdrawing now and I'm going to distribute the BTC according to the terms of this deal once it hits my Electrum wallet (all BTC transaction fees will be paid by me).

Nice trading, praine.  Cool

Please keep us updated with the status of the BTC.
Also, please give me a BAB/BCH address so I can send the collateral back to you once it has been all settled.

If it has 60 confirmations tomorrow, feel free to send Bitcoin (BTC BTC) to 1P3gUdngpLcswgDW2Xf48ZGtbcDNLantvG

Once I wake up and I see that my BTC are there and the rate was fair I'll consent to having @yogg release your Bitcoin Cash ABC back to you.  Grin

Damn. Looks like Binance was the better option here. I see that this requires 60 confirmations. This could take like 12 hours to confirm...

I understand you wanted this done urgently, so I will wave my insurance fee when this does get confirmed and do it for free. Only yogg's escrow fee will be deducted.

Really sorry about this. Would never have figured they would be so unreasonable in their confirmation requirement.

No problem. Let's just wait it out. I agree with @yoggs, if there's no big decline in price from now, feel free to continue to deduct your 0.02BTC. After all, it took me a few days to even split the coins and then wait 200 confs for no block reorg attack (according to this guide). Waiting 60 confs is nothing in comparison friend. Smiley

Sweet man. Really grateful for your understanding. We're dealing with shitcoins after all....

On a positive note Bitfinex does see the incoming transaction, so no issues there. Just gotta wait it out.

EDIT at 12:00PM UTC: I'm going to go to bed. I'll be getting up in about 8 hours, and will check up on this transaction as soon as I do so. Perhaps it will be confirmed by then.

Yes, this is unfortunate.
I will hold onto praine's BCH in the meantime.
Imo, if the rate hasn't evolved much when it has confirmed, you should go and sell. Otherwise it's kopipe's call to sell at future current rate,

What do you think kopipe ?

Allright, we now wait for that transaction to confirm.
(EDIT : Oh it has one already !)

If I get it correctly, kopipe will be paying for the escrow fee from the BSV sale, right ?

Yes, I will be paying both the escrow fee and @praine's Bitfinex insurance fee.

As soon as there's a confirmation to 1DSqati7T3yuEYg4B2nqbU5J6CFVFb9drW I'll send my Bitcoin SV to @praine :-)

As stated I'll receive the Bitcoin BTC to 1P3gUdngpLcswgDW2Xf48ZGtbcDNLantvG minus all fees.

I know it's a bit of a weird sale, but I just want to sell NOW and don't want to have to wait for exchanges to approve me because I'm that worried about this coin going to zero. If you think my fear is unfounded, well, free insurance fee for you  Smiley

Message quoted for reference.
I totally understand your concerns, and it's wise to act ASAP to get out of that spot, in your position.

(BAB = BCH = Bitcoin Cash ABC, right?)

Yes, exactly.

The nature of the transaction would be as follows: He holds on to the Bitcoin Cash, then once he confirms he received it, you send me the Bitcoin SV and I'll sell it. Then I send you your BTC, and his escrow fee (which has to come out of the SV sale), and he sends me my Bitcoin Cash back.

Allright then.

1) Please send the BCH so I can hold onto your funds while you transact to the BCH address :
 >> 1DSqati7T3yuEYg4B2nqbU5J6CFVFb9drW <<  (bitcoincash:qzyggahse7078ssa004plkkhh5huj7d89584rnejr2)
This address is listed and signed with my primary BTC address on the escrow thread.

2) Then kopipe sends the bitcoin SV to praine.
3) Praise sells SV and sends the BTC to kopipe
4) When kopipe received the BTC, I release the BCH back to praine.

Yogg, do you understand this transaction? We are not buying and selling to each other, I am giving him insurance for an exchange sale (he isn't comfortable with exchanges). You are holding on to my collateral temporarily while I sell his coins on an exchange, and you'll give it back to me when this has been completed. Post #4 lays it out.

Yes, I figured that out. Smiley

I was hoping to use BAB for escrow funds. I have 53 of them in Bitfinex. That covers the value sufficiently. Are you able to handle these coins, yogg?

If I followed through all this correctly, BAB is "the real BCH" right ?
I also have BCH addresses listed in my escrow thread.

If so, yes I am able to handle that, if seller is willing to take then.

Feel free to check my escrow thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/escrow-yoggs-escrow-service-btc-alts-fast-reliable-secure-2460025

Are you OK with letting @yogg help us, @praine? If so, let's do this.

My BTC address for this tx is 1P3gUdngpLcswgDW2Xf48ZGtbcDNLantvG

I've already split the coins and am ready to send them to escrow.

Please let me know if you both agree to use me as an escrow.
I will setup the transaction then.

This is how it will take place :
1) When you have both agreed, I will specify one of my BTC escrow addresses to the buyer. (They are in my escrow service thread)
2) Buyer sends the funds to my escrow BTC address. Once funds have been secured, seller can send the BitcoinSV to buyer.
3) Once buyer confirms the receival of funds, I will release the BTC payment to seller.

Thank you. We are waiting for the reply of DarkStar. In the mean time, anyone with high default trust may step in and do the transaction if they want.

I want to get rid of these SV as soon as I can. I see this coin going to zero. Maybe I'm crazy, but I own too much of this coin due to the split to be comfortable with it. It's almost 2BTC that I didn't ask for, Faketoshi gave them to me with his shenanigans so I want to give them back.

After some thought, I'll put forward an insurance offer rather than a price offer:

I'll sell it on Bitfinex and give you whatever I get for the coins and keep .02 BTC for myself. If there is any problem with that process (i.e. the exchange screws me over) then I would have to give you your 85 Bitcoin SV coins back or the fair bitcoin value without taking a fee (your choice).

This would be fully collateralized, and the value of 85 Bitcoin SV coins would be held with an escrow during this process, which means you would be completely insured and I would be the one taking on the exchange risk.

Sounds good to me, as long as both of us trust the escrow  Smiley
Here is some selected escrow. You may use any of them: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/few-trusted-escrow-providers-5047302

How much do you want for it?

Make an offer. Every OTC trader has different fees and tolerance for exchange risk. I'm willing to accept below Binance's price.

Want to sell Bitcoin SV. Don't trust any of these fly-by-night exchanges.

Will send first to users with (high) default trust. Otherwise need you to find & set up escrow.

Note: Currently waiting for reply of DarkStar_ escrow.
