What computer components is the metal from? I'd assume copper/aluminum? And mostly in wire or what form? I can re-purpose all non ferrous metals, its just a question of whether its worth doing so.

yeah, old computers have huge chunks of specific materials. If you'd like I could assemble a small sampler pack for you. You would need to test them for ferrous content yourself.

I haven't separated enough wires at this time to make it worth sending any, if you'd like me to start a mystery box of wire then I could think about it, but not particularily interested in that at this time.

I'll consider mystery boxes in this order of importance.

I figure if someone had the skill to recycle the components I would muster the skill to dismantle them, put them in a box and ship them to that individual.

This could follow up with a mystery box full of chips if I ever find myself a good de-soldering setup.
