Item has been sent Via Canada Post, once its in the USA it will be USPS

tracking number  CX642001082CA

I marked as gift to try avoiding and customs fees, however for insurance i have it valued at $1500 CDN

Do not do this. The way you did.

A) post last six places of tracking. i.e. xxxxxxx1082CA
B) do not say you marked as a gift.

Here is the issue you revealed enough info to be found by US customs.
So both you and buyer could be in trouble for avoiding proper custom fee.

The proper fee for two units sold at 1400 is 27.6%

If you shipped them separately 700 each no trump tax.

but 700+700 = trump tax.

Hopefully it all works out for buyer and seller.

Im not sure what you mean there devindeysel

Maybe he thinks the packages are coming from China, he probably has not read the topic, anyway just out of curisity, have you sent the miners to the buyer directly or to the escrow?

1-Sent to the buyer:

What if the miner does not work? what if it does and he claims the opposite?

2-Sent to Escrow:

Who will pay the shipping fees from the escrow's address to the buyer's?

no offense Stryfe, but escrowing used gears is a lot of trouble for 1%, I hope this deal goes smooth.

I think you are right, he prolly thinks this involves China. It does not.

1 - If there are issues with the miner, then we will work towards a mutual solution. Miners were proven to work prior to purchase ie Miners should work after they arrive. There is also 1500 insurance on the item.

2 - The miners are not being sent to me, but directly to the buyer. They did not elect for them to come to me, that is always an option but was not done in this case.

yes, 1% is low, but I have zero exposure on the forums doing escrow, I am offering at 1% vs 2-3% in an effort to encourage use of my service.

I like to think the best of people, the miners were sent straight to the buyer. I have proof they were working when shipped, if there damaged, well thats why you get insurance on your package.
I know there people that will replace parts and say it never worked, but im a fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you type of a person
i have no reason to suspect the buyer has any wrong intentions
Me neither I was just speaking to the semantics. I send gear direct to people all the time but always confirm it as working beforehand. Usually they want to see it working so it makes sense. I got burned on ebay very early on by someone that's actually how I found the forum so I guess it worked out in the end.

I'm sure buyer, seller and escrow will do fine in this deal.

Escrow is tough that's why some have gotten out of it all together. That and to many scammers. Never really dealt with the who pays shipping to get it back to the seller in a dispute at the end, but generally those terms get sorted out beforehand. If it does go to escrow for testing then to the buyer that would have been discussed first in the sale I imagine.
they are located in MB Canada
I could have probably driven to pick them up if my place wasn't maxed for power usage. Feel free to get in touch if you're ever interested in chatting more with another MB resident.

I can offer escrow services. I know we pm'd concerning this.

the way it works is simple.

- Once contacted by either seller or buyer - I will draft a contract involving seller, buyer and myself with terms/conditions. This should cover all the possible "if this, then this" scenarios
- Once both parties agree, I will provide a "escrow"  address to buyer and request a "refund address" from buyer and a "pay to" address from seller
- The "escrow" address I provide will be an address specific to this contract only - I will provide a new address for each contract
- I will be willing to escrow using the following crypto currencies: BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC
- Once funds are received into the "escrow" address, I will notify both parties and seller will need to ship item and provide tracking
- Once package is received by buyer, they will have a mutually agreed amount of time to review product once it arrives (1 to 2 days typically)
- If there are issues - they will need to be communicated and I will work with both buyer & seller to come to a fair resolution
- Once buyer and seller are satisfied, I will release funds to the seller
- I will charge 1% fee

you could also use another escrow such as @philipma1957 or @ognasty
