7hrs 6mins to go.

... and I thought I add (since no one has bid yet) that I'll allow bids showing 10 minutes (or less) after the last bid (ignoring seconds) if they occur after the expiry time.

I'm tempted but I'm in Perth - Freight would be approx $150 to get it over here and the fact that it has been used in a non-climate controlled room is concerning..

I'm comparing it to buying Antminer S1's at 0.8 BTC each or a much more power efficient S2.. It will come down to power usage. I already have 4 Antminer S1's running in my server room.. if I go overboard I'll need a new electrical circuit Smiley

How many watts does each unit draw?

thanks!
Well - the non-climate controlled room for the BFL has been OK for it and it's pal (and 3 Ants and 7 Bitfury boards) for a while so far Smiley
This is the slightly newer of my two BFLs - the other one is the development one I got first before it
(yeah I wrote the original BFL ASIC device driver in cgminer)

These devices run fine and I expect them to continue doing that ...
I simply need the power for new hardware (that will take their place) since I expect to be making S2 releases of cgminer in the near future ... and ... hopefully? ... a Minion X3 soon too ... and I'm pretty much border line on the small power limits I have at home already.

The Avalon + RPi + a PowerLine ethernet connection uses (similar to what the web page link says + extra for RPI+Powerline) 1090W.
The web page also says you can run it in ECO mode (210GH/s) at 420W
It runs in my unit, not in the garage.

The BFL is 265W

I started it at 1.0BTC since that is probably better pricing than anything you can buy on the board - 0.003BTC per GH/s (excluding shipping)
If no one wants to buy them, they'll just be switched off and left idle once I need the power for development work on the new hardware Tongue

Firstly and foremost: this Auction is in BTC - make your bids in BTC.

Secondly: if your account doesn't show it being a bitcointalk member BEFORE 31-March-2014 then I won't accept your bid.
If there is a question about the timezone on your account vs what I see, I'll allow 31-March as I see it from my account, but no later.

It's for 2 mining devices for the one price: Avalon2 2nd Gen 300GH/s Unit with RPi + BFL Single 60GH/s Unit (without power supply)
BUT you will need to add postage above your bid price if you win the auction.

NOTE FOR POSTAGE - the Avalon2 300GH/s unit weighs around ~20kg

If you bid, it must be a multiple of 0.05 BTC and must be higher than any previous valid bid made by anyone else.
Your bid must be clear and the first line of your post must look something like: 1.1 BTC for Ava2+BFL

Bidding starts at 1.0 BTC

Anyone valid according to the above Second rule, can "Buy It Now" for 3.0 BTC by posting in this thread first: "Buy it now 3.0 BTC"
Yes 3.0 BTC is too high but I thought I'd clear that up before anyone started asking to buy it before the auction finished.

I will only accept direct BTC payment to myself so yes you'll have to trust me.
It's not hard to find out who I am if you look in the cgminer code ...
BTC payment before I send it.

This Auction will run until Thu 24 Apr 2013 10:01am GMT+10 (Sydney time)
i.e. GMT 00:01 24-Apr
In the USA that will be very approx around early Wed evening

I live in Sydney, Australia.
Shipping will be added on top of the final auction price.
I will use whatever shipping method the winner prefers, since it's up to the winner to cover the cost in BTC before I ship it for them.
Local delivery will be simple enough (and if you "Buy It Now" I'll even consider delivering it myself if you live close enough in Sydney), but interstate or overseas, you would need to take the shipping cost well into consideration.

The Avalon2 weighs 18.6kg (exact) + extras + box and says 21kg on the invoice
Orignal box is 63cm x 56cm x 21.5cm

The BFL Single is 4kg (on the shipping invoice)
Original box is 31cm x 31cm x 15cm

I will ship the two items in their original boxes (which I still have of course)

Details:

Avalon2 2nd Gen 300GH/s miner - it mines, accepted rate by the pool, above 285GH/s on default settings - I've only used the default settings.
As detailed on the bitcoin wiki, it is the full silver box Avalon2 at the bottom (except my one is black)
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon2
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/File:Avlaon2-front-without-face.jpg
Comes with: an RPi with 8GB SD that I have been using to mine on it with no problems at all
a USB cable from the RPi to the Avalon
a USB cable from the RPi to a standard USB for powering it
a standard Aus computer power lead for the Avalon (won't be sent if not required)
Extra required: a power source to plug the RPi USB power lead into (e.g. a USB charger)

BFL ASIC Single 60GH/s - it mines at 61GH/s with the cover off at 77C currently
I will of course put the cover back on it properly for shipping.
During summer it did on rare occasion throttle in my garage where there was no temperature control but ambient rarely hit 30C
Includes the required USB cable.
Does NOT include a PSU, i.e. there is no power supply with it (I don't have one)
I use my mining rig PSU to power it.
It requires 2x6 Pin PCI-e power leads to power it (as can be seen in the picture)
cgminer screen (combined):
2: BAS 1 : max 77C 0.99V | 60.96G / 61.30Gh/s | A:4690618 R:12866 HW:100800 WU:838.3/m

I reserve the right to cancel the auction if necessary for reasonable cause.
If I do so, all bids are cancelled.
I'm reserving this right simply because I want an escape hatch just in case I've made some critical mistake in this post.
