Hey,

it seems that the fpga board of my avalon doesnt work anymore. So iam thinking about to resell the 3 modules of my avalon (batch1)

How much  BTC would you offer me per modul?

They worked fine until i hit the "reboot" button in the webui

Candoo,

Make your case that your buyers will be getting a good deal @ 70BTC for 22Gh/s)  for this module.

Do it with hard math. If not, you'll simply fail to justify it like Yantis units. @ 250BTC

----------------------

You are selling your unit for 70 x 3 modules = 210BTC.

The estimated return for an entire overclocked Avalon @ 71GH/s is about 105 BTC.

Divide that by three and you come out to ~ 30-35BTC per module.

Now choose a given percentage of that you think is reasonable for that future production of BTC.

Will you sell it at 35BTC...? If so, then this be like a miners shortcut to getting his profits for the next year from some dupe/fool who didn't do his math!

Let say 50% of that future reward. (not including the electricity costs or internet fees to keep the miner going)

15 to 17 BTC? Sounds like that offer was made.

I prefer a 25% ratio of future profits. 8.99 BTC.

---------------------

From what I see, you have dilema yourself.

A) You want 70 BTC. about 200% of the future BTC production of the module.

B) You have a broken Avalon that isn't mining anymore.

So the buyer will have to pay you double what it will produce in the future for you to feel satisfied. They will never see the return for their purchase.

I ask 70 BTC per module

You paid $1300 for this first batch Avalon... made a lot of BTC (200+) and now asking 3x70 BTC ...

You're way to greedy for my taste.

So you would sell me Your avalon for 80 btc?? I buy it!
It's not "would you?"

It is "you have to" if you want it to actually sell.

Try selling for 20 BTC dude. That right there is $2000. $6000 for your rig, and you have mined so much more already. You are simply too greedy.

Are you guys crazy? No one would sell you a module for like 8 btc or 25  btc?

If you pay 25 btc per module then it is 75 btc for  a whole avalon unit. No one on earth would sell his avalon for 75 btc right now!!

Even the pre orders go for more:p

I ask 70 BTC per module

According to this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/google-doc-with-exponential-fit-lead-time-and-linear-rate-target-236050

It should generate only 35 BTC over its (22Gh/s) useful life. So I offer 8.99 btc for 1. The current market rate for a cloned module.
