If you divide all prices by 10, I may consider buying.

Time-saving is valuable, but I agree the prices seem way to high.
Can we divide by 20 or 30 and then bid them back up.  Cheesy
That is, you agree to buy the 0 post account for 8333-12500 satoshis?! Again it don't worth it. This can be created within a minute. I had sold a 1 post newbie account here for a single satoshi while no one is buying at the buy now price at 20000 satoshi.

Useless to deal with newbie accounts I can create for free in few min.

I think op thought of the activity rises every 2week period and doesnt rwquire to have post atleast once every period thats why those newbies is way too expensive
However one of the accounts have activity and posts both 0. It is useless to buy that account because you can only make it to 14 activity in this two week period.

Forum is migrating because of the ddos or other reasons due to growth?

If it does migrate why does that screw up the farmed accounts you didn't get to grow yet? Because they'll lose their creation date benefits?

I have some newbie accounts that I was going to use for personal projects which never really got past the planning stage. Since the forum will be migrating soon and I'd rather do everything using my main account from now on, my loss is your gain. Two of the accounts were registered in 2014 and have 10-40 posts each. The other two accounts were registered in 2015 and have 0-5 posts each. All have neutral/zero default trust and lack avatars.

They are:

How would you think that you can sell this account? I can create one within 1 minute!

Actually that account was the only one that someone here was actually interested in buying. Unfortunately, I also recently found out that I lost the passwords to these accounts since I stored them in an encrypted text file on my netbook which I left at my parents' house and I won't have access to for at least another two months. Sad

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Upon further inspection, it looks like the accounts from 2014 were created in mid-2014. The one with almost 40 posts made them all in the span of slightly over a week while the one with ~10 posts made them all in the span of nearly 1 month. Because of the way activity works, the second one could probably reach junior member status either right now or very soon with enough posts. Not sure about the other one though.

Anyway, the general consensus seems to be that the prices I posted are too high. And to be honest, I've kinda grown attached to them even though there's really no real use for keeping them around when I already have this account. So if there are no buyers then I'd be happy to continue holding onto them. Smiley
You should start posting now... Few months later it become full member

Really really interesting, a registration on Bitcointalk is worth of 0.025BTC? Do we need a invitation code to register to this forum?

An older newb account with zero posts from maybe 2014 or earlier may have a little value but not one from 2015. I guess maybe someone would buy one if he just signed up and wanted some alt accounts that all wern't created on the same day minutes apart. I doubt op will sell any of these for these prices, though.
No one will buy any of the op's account. for 0.025 people can by jr. member account.

wow, I won't spend my bitcoin for newbie account. although I can create new account now and get 28 activity. But, If this account created in 2013 or bellow, maybe someone want it.

It doesn't matter when you registered, It does matter when you made the posts on your account.

Prices are way too high. Would you pay 5$ for an account you could make in seconds? Ask yourself that. Bulk accounts are also much better because people can buy them in bulk to level them up and sell them for much more later.

I think it's because the accounts were created early. Since they were created a long time ago, you only have to make a few posts to get it to say a member account. I think that's why the older the account the higher the price is.

That all depends on the number of activity periods he posted in. He might have made the posts all in one day and if he did then you won't get any extra points. Op should probably clarify that if he can because they would be worth more than just your regular newb accounts then.

I don't think they are really worth that much. If the accounts were created in 2012 or 2013 then the price set by op is fair enough.
It is exactly the case here. Accounts created in 2014 or even in 2013 are nothing special really. Definitely not worth the price. I would consider buying newbie account only prior 2012 to be honest. After all you still need to boost activity of these account by yourself for over a year to be able to do something!
