Hello, what dates are you at Dublin Airport?
I may be interested in exchanging at 5% below btc-e rate, is that correct?
Thanks btcirl  Cool

I've forwarded the link to this thread on to a trustworthy trader that I do business with on a regular basis; hopefully they'll be interested in buying from you! Can you give any info re: dates that you're looking to trade or are you in Dublin at the moment?

Nothing like healthy scepticism and hard evidence
One option is to buy a euro based anonymous plastic debit card from a SEPA Bank. There are a few sellers selling these (ex. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=269591.0; there are others, I'm not vouching for the seller; they were also on Bitmit and on other alt auctions places). They come with a SEPA banking account to reload the card. Once you get it, I might accept to deal with you, by making a euro SEPA wire transfer to that account.
After using it, you can sell the card (they can be used for around 2 years).

Ya you are right...
I could send you euro so it would already be transferred over.. if you could get a card when you used it it would deduct euros, but i do understand it is a bunch of bullshit to go through. The card has limits and you have to have a certain volume or number of transactions to maintain the account. I realize it is more than likely not the best option for you but the rate you posted made my head spin, fing crazy good deal.  DAMN I WISH I HAD SOME EUROS ! at least my ranting will give you a bump.  Smiley

I can send you euro for your btc via paypal NP. I will gladly pay any conversion fees if you are going to use btc-e pricing. Not trying to be a bother I dont remember if i have asked you about paypal before, but that seems like the easiest solution to me.

I don't trust or like PayPal, but even if I did how do I turn the PayPal funds into cash that I can spend while I'm on holiday in Ireland?

I understand not trusting them they rob me on a regular basis, but no more than any other bank that I have used. They are all crooks, but they do let me send money all over the world for free.. which is very cool. I forget about it being an issue for people to get money off their account if they are away from their banks. I use the paypal debit card and can get cash at any atm.. it is very handy no matter where i am in the world I have access to my funds and can spend right from my paypal account to anyone who accepts debit.

I already have a bank account with USD in it.  I can use my debit card at merchants that accept debit if I want to pay the bank a currency conversion fee.  I'm looking to acquire some physical euro that I can use while in Ireland.  Thanks for your PayPal offer, but I'll continue to see if I can find someone willing to meet with me at Dublin Airport or Ariel House.

I'd like to sell BTC for face-to-face euro exchange at either Dublin Airport or at Ariel House ( 50 Lansdowne Rd, Dublin 4, Co. Dublin )

You pay 5% LESS THAN BTC-E last for the bitcoins. (If we were trading today that means you'd only pay 69.1979 euro per BTC)

I'm traveling to Dublin and would like to avoid paying the banks 5%+ to convert my USD to EUR for me.  Instead I'll give you the benefit of the 5% and exchange some of my bitcoins.

If I have any euro left at the end of my trip, I'd be willing to meet up again to re-purchase some of the bitcoins back from you, and then I'll pay you the greater of 5% MORE THAN BTC-E, or 10% more than you paid me.

That's right, for any bitcoins I repurchase from you at the end of my trip, I guarantee you AT LEAST 10% profit just for holding on to the bitcoins for me for a week.

Post here or send a PM if you're interested.
