I will pay bitstamp +1% (if bitstamp is $448 or less), anything above I'd pay flat bitstamp price. I can buy $2400 tomorrow using DannyHamilton as escrow.

I can do this weekly for at least $2000 worth if that peeks your interest.

Let me know.

no thank you, bitstamp +6%

What doesn't sound safe?

A newbie with only 7 other posts and recently offering to buy 20 bitcoins with reversible payment methods, is now posting looking sell 25 bitcoins for irreversible payment methods?

Then another newbie with only 6 other posts shows up in the same thread claiming to have recently made a $2300 purchase from him via cash deposit?

What does sound safe?

If he's willing to send first, then its dangerous for him (very likely a scammer will try to take advantage of him).

If he requires the buyer to deposit the cash first, then there is a significant risk to any newbie that doesn't understand the risks of such transactions.

I'm not saying he's an untrustworthy guy, just that neither he, nor the person vouching for him have much reputation here, and if history is any indication there are a lot of warning signs here.

Thank you for voicing your concerns, I agree with everything you said here and I would advise everyone to use caution when making deals online with strangers. I am new to this forum and I am building trust, we all have to start somewhere Cheesy

I have sold to two different people from this thread and both times we used an escrow, I will continue to encourage the use on an escrow for all transactions.

This doesn't sound safe.  I HIGHLY recommend using escrow if you choose to engage in this transaction.

Here is a list of respected and trusted escrow providers from this forum.  Many of them provide their service free of charge for the community.  Some even provide significant amounts of contact information:
