2BTC sounds about right.  It has clearly been out of its case and it looks to be sitting on the deck of a boat, I hope its not a salt water boat.
You have great fantasy, awesome. I just took the coin out of the case in order to take a photo on a white paper sheet.  Wink

Sorry, it was your .1 Cas that looked like it was on a boat deck, dunno why I thought it was fiberglass.  I should stop looking at boats!

That is eBay, not forum prices. If you list this coin on there you are likely to get more than you will on here.

Graded Casascius coins sell for (sometimes substantially) more on eBay than they do on the forum. It has been that way for a while.

The reason the majority of us choose not to sell these coins on there is because of high fees, and high risk.

At 13.4%, eBay and PayPal fees hurt your margins drastically. Not many of us like PayPal, due to the chance you could become the victim of a chargeback later down the line - the biggest risk of all.

~2 BTC for your coin is about right in current market on the forum (judging recent prices). An ungraded Silver with Gilt sold on here a couple days ago for 2 BTC.

Good luck man Smiley

@SaltySpitoon - OgNasty's coin was an MS65, which sold for 2 BTC Smiley

Heres a MS69 one that sold recently for 2.2BTC.

If I'm not mistaken, OGNasty was selling a 1 BTC silver (not gilt) Cas that was ungraded for 1.9-2BTC recently.

Ebay prices aren't really dependable for comparison of anything Bitcoin related be it collectibles or miners. The scam potential on Ebay is ridiculously high, plus there is typically a pretty large Paypal/credit card > BTC conversion factor that is included in Ebay listing prices.

Just some friendly advice but your coin is really overpriced.

Yesterday a MS-68 Gilt Silver 1 BTC coin was sold for 2.05 BTC
