0.99BTC  (shipped)

Please only post if you are interested in buying this coin or have anything to contribute, otherwise just don't waste (your, mine, our, their) time.

I get 1 BTC if I remove the seal myself and don't have to pay for shipping, so why should I waste a satoshi.

My apologies;
1btc and ill cover shipping.
I would intend to have it graded eventually; I welcome higher bids, just trying to start things up again.

The "honeycomb" effect on the hologram is definitely concerning.  I haven't seen that on roughly handled coins before.  For anyone not familiar, when these holograms are removed, the original sticker stays in tact, but leaves a honeycomb pattern behind.  That is clearly visible on this coin.  Granted, the honeycombing only appears to be around the center of the hologram (the absolute middle wouldn't honeycomb unless the private key was peeled from the hologram, it could easily be compromised without removing).

Not saying the honeycombing couldn't have happened through rough handling and I'm certainly not accusing the OP of anything, but with a hologram that shows signs of tampering (even if accidental), I'm not sure what kind of premium this would carry.

1.2 BTC, escrowed and shipped. A better picture would be nice.

I hope you win this, get it graded by ANACS and this will probably be the lowest graded coin every. It probably has a premium because of that lol Smiley

Retracted my bid after seeing HD pictures =/

I dont blame you, its a pretty tough looking coin. I think it still has a premium though, someone will buy it!

OP - Higher quality photos?

Maybe I can make some better pictures of the seal tomorrow, maybe we should even move this topic to "auction" and set an end date.

Please note: It looks like it could be possible to remove the seal, without destroying it.

The coin is still funded, as you can check at: 14kDi8KtdTguhDQK3DWfrkbQ4jQ7vvJL2E
https://blockchain.info/address/14kDi8KtdTguhDQK3DWfrkbQ4jQ7vvJL2E

What is difficult to tell from the pictures is if the label has been opened.

So,
That's what a coin looks like when it's actually been in circulation.  Smiley

I will start the bid at .95BTC  (shipped).

Why insult the seller with a less than face value bid?

Maybe you are new to bidding (on anything).   There was no start price.  I simply 'started' the bidding and am happy to pay more.

Why don't you impress the seller and start bidding?

Moin,

I would like to sell a Casascius 1BTC Coin.

It looks not that shiny anymore, because I kept in in my purse with other (fiat) coins.

It's Adress is 14kDi8KtdTguhDQK3DWfrkbQ4jQ7vvJL2E

The exchange could be done either in Hamburg (DE) or I can send it wherever you want it to be, insured, as a parcel or however you like it as long as it's not more than 10€.

I am a member of the  Web-of-trust bitcoin-otc and got good ratings by yossarian, seco and sturles . My KeyID is F2FD8114836F188D.

Hope to hear from you soon Smiley
