After I posted on the OP , I tried to get the coupon myself and I succeed however you should understand that you can get one for free (gives you 50$ If you are a student) .
Once I got the coupon , I made a DigitalOcean account they first asked me to Deposit using Paypal or credit card to get my account verified (they don't accept E-coin or any other Bitcoin debit card AFAIK) so I deposited using Paypal which was linked to the Visa of e-coin (so paid using it indirectly)
account got half verified and I they PMed me (DigitalOcean) to the email assocaited with the Paypal account asking me to verify that I'm the owner , once I've done that ... I tried to add this "coupon" for 50$ and It didn't work and I then had to contact them and the Support ticket added it manually .
Bottom line : You won't be able to use that coupon easily , there is a lot of things you should go through and you should definitely be a student to use that coupon because you are going to link your Github account (since they are the one who gave you that coupon)
