It's really hard to change what people already say and cryptocurrency already seems to be the mainstream way to say it. I don't know if people would change.

it's basically a new made-up word for the term "cryptocurrency" and if you are crazy enough you can change the world and everybody will eventually be using the term "cryptency" instead of the long version "cryptocurrency". It's shorter and in my opinion it sounds much better than "cryptocurrency". You can have the twitter and gmail account too.
