No, it is not a skimmer, it's category is point-of-sale equipment. I've done nothing illegal with it. It could probably be used for more nefarious purposes, but it's not a skimmer.

Hello, I have a lightly used piece of Point-of-Sale equipment that I'd like to sell. It's an Etekcity® Mini DX3 3T Portable MSR Magnetic Stripe Card Reader Collector MiniDX3 that I'm interested in selling for 1BTC or best offer. This price includes the specialized USB cable. The unit is in perfect working order and in excellent cosmetic condition. The software for this device is freely available online. I'll be using BitcoinLabels.com to print a domestic USPS Priority shipping label, which will be included in the price. I'd like to use John K. for escrow and I'd prefer that the interested buyer have some previous transactions.
This item was previously listed on the boards but the eBay buyer that bought the item never paid for it. I've taken the item off eBay and would prefer to sell to a trusted user here.
It would be easy to sell this item for $40-$75 USD above the price I'm asking if you have a buyer in mind or an eBay account, but I prefer to stay away from reversible transactions for now.
