A lot of things change in 5 years, it could be worth nothing

Nah. Regardless of what happens to Bitcoin it'll always have a huge place in history and these coins are the 'face' of it to many. Zimbabwean dollars can't be spent anywhere but they go for 100x their face value sometimes.

Hell,
I would even argue that over time IF Bitcoin fails, you are at least guaranteed collectors value for the coin. Making it a safer investment than BTC alone.

This coin has been put back in the vault. Check back in 5 years or so.

Nubs is officially out of the business. It's been real, folks.

Now are you asking 3.25 BTC for a ungraded coin and 1 BTC for PGP ....  ........ .......... .....  Roll Eyes

Do you really think I would purchase coins for a higher price than I sell them for?

Also: ANACS sucks and their grades don't mean shit (e.g. The infamous MS70 0.1 with a clearly visible dent)

Also: This coin has been in my possession since receiving it new; dare you to find another first-batch first-owner silver with PGP docs.

In memory of Zepher
2.2 (looks like we aren't close) and I don't care about PGP docs.  I can document who I bought it from and that's good enough for me.

Lie down. Have a cookie
I will broker the sale for some of the 70s (not mine). A couple of 0.1s are available now, a couple of silver and golds will also probably be going on sale when they get back from ANACS, hopefully next week. Feel free to PM any offers for the 0.1s.

70s -- which (if any) are from hardbtc/you?

If hardbtc has been in contact with Mike recently, I'd potentially be interested in trying to put together an MS70 silver set with PGP docs.

MS70 0.1 Silver - would pay 2 btc
MS70 0.5 Silver s2 - would pay 10 btc
MS70 0.5 Silver s3 - would pay 2.5 btc
MS70 1.0 Silver - would pay 3 btc
MS70 1.0 Silver+Gold - would pay 3 btc

and 0.5 btc per coin for PGP docs. That's potentially an extra 2.5 btc for you & hardbtc to split, just for getting some documentation in order Cool

Buy low, sell high. That's business.

Anyways people that can get Mike to extend the chain are very lucky.

$450 dollars to sign a PGP signature?  WOW

What are dollars?

Since we're asking questions, how much is YOUR time worth (in "dollars" or BTC)?

My time is worth a lot, but it doesn't take much time and effort to perform this task but I also don't know what kind of effort it took to get them in the first place.   Just seems very high for such a simple thing.  A simple thing that is not a guarantee.

If you don't understand the worth behind PGP chain of custody, then it probably isn't for you.

WTS: 2013 Casascius 1 BTC Silver.

From roll 1Ag1-C, third roll in the first funded batch.

PGP chain of custody is available for a fee; I'm the first owner of this coin, and it's extremely rare these days to be able to purchase a PGP'd coin from the first owner.

Asking 3.25 BTC for the coin, or 4.25 BTC with PGP chain of custody.
