Why not make your front page USEFUL then when you build traffic people will approach you to advertise rather than think "here's a spammy page with no content and 3 ads"
The same ads are displayed on every page, so I'm not really sure what your point is. There isn't much to put on a homepage for the index of a site like this, unless you have suggestions...?
Also what are your stats? No serious advertiser is interested unless there are stats.
